Abstract: An electronic device for displaying a target advertisement which displays a content screen on a display based on content data received from an external server, transmits information about the electronic device to the external server for a target advertisement, and receives first target advertisement information determined based on the information about the electronic device from the external server and displays a target advertisement by using the received first target advertisement information. Also, the electronic device performs screen mirroring such that at least a portion of the content screen is displayed on an external device, transmits information about the external device connected by the screen mirroring to the external server for a target advertisement, receives second target advertisement information determined based on the information about the external device from the external server, and displays a target advertisement by using the received second target advertisement information while performing the screen mirroring.
