Abstract: A drive assist system includes an occupant monitoring apparatus, a determination apparatus, and a drive assist control apparatus. The occupant monitoring apparatus monitors a physical state of an occupant, including a driver, of a vehicle. The determination apparatus determines a traveling state and a stopped state of the vehicle. The drive assist control apparatus executes a control to secure safe traveling upon determining that sleep duration of the occupant is less than a predetermined time and quality of sleep thereof is lower than a predetermined level on the basis of monitoring information acquired by the occupant monitoring apparatus. The drive assist control apparatus includes one or more processors that perform, in a case where determination information from the determination apparatus indicates the stopped state, a control of appropriately restricting the driver's driving operation on the basis of at least the sleep duration and the quality of sleep of the driver.

Abstract: An occupant state detection system includes an occupant monitoring apparatus, a determination apparatus, and an occupant state detection apparatus. The occupant state detection apparatus includes one or more processors and one or more memories. The one or more memories store data including traveling-state comparative data and stopped-state comparative data. The one or more processors cooperate with one or more programs included in the one or more memories to receive occupant monitoring data from the occupant monitoring apparatus and determination data from the determination apparatus. On the basis of the determination data, the one or more processors compare the occupant monitoring data with the traveling-state comparative data on the condition that the vehicle is in the traveling state, and compare the occupant monitoring data with the stopped-state comparative data on the condition that the vehicle is in the stopped state, to detect a state of the occupant in the vehicle.

Abstract: A safety drive assist apparatus includes an imaging unit, an information acquisition unit, a first determination processor, a second determination processor, and a control processor. The imaging unit captures an image of an occupant inside a vehicle. The information acquisition unit acquires information including biometric information of the occupant inside and outside the vehicle. The first determination processor and the second determination processor determine a physical fatigue level and a mental fatigue level of the occupant inside the vehicle, respectively, on the basis of the image of the occupant inside the vehicle captured by the imaging unit or the information including the biometric information of the occupant inside and outside the vehicle acquired by the information acquisition unit. The control processor controls a vehicle device on the basis of one or both of determination information obtained by the first determination processor, and determination information obtained by the second determination processor.

The first and second occupant monitoring apparatuses monitor a physical state of an occupant in a vehicle in different methods. The occupant state detection apparatus includes one or more first processors and one or more first memories. Upon receiving data indicating that the vehicle is in a stopped state from the determination apparatus, the one or more first processors cooperate with one or more programs in the one or more first memories to: make assignment of a part to be monitored and data to be acquired, of the occupant in the vehicle, to be detected by the first and second occupant monitoring apparatuses; and detect the physical state of the occupant on the basis of first and second occupant monitoring data from the first and second occupant monitoring apparatuses.

Abstract: A safety drive assist apparatus includes an imaging unit, an information acquisition unit, first and second determination processors, and a search control processor. The imaging unit captures an image of an occupant inside a vehicle. The information acquisition unit is provided inside and outside the vehicle and acquires information including biometric information of the occupant. The search control processor searches for a recommended traveling route and a recommended stop-by point on the basis of a search condition, and propose a result of the search to the occupant.
