Abstract: There is provided a content server including a storage unit configured to store a plurality of encoded data obtained by encoding same contents at different bit rates, and a communication unit configured to transmit a data file including access information related to a part of encoded data among the plurality of encoded data to a client device, and transmit encoded data requested by the client device based on the data file to the client device.
