Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for forming a stabilized fat blend. Further aspects of the invention are a composition comprising a fat blend and micronized antioxidant-containing vegetable material. The invention also provides for the use of micronized antioxidant-containing vegetable material to protect a fat blend from oxidation, for example a fat blend with a low level of saturated fat.
Abstract:
The present invention generally relates to the field of nutrition, health and wellness. For example, the present invention relates to hydroxycinnamic acids and their health benefits. The present invention discloses compositions that allow increasing the bioavailability and/or bioefficacy of hydroxycinnamic acids. According to the invention, this can be achieved by co-administering at least one glycoside conjugate of a flavonoid with hydroxycinnamic acids.

Abstract:
The present invention relates generally to the field of lipids and in particular aims at improving lipid absorption, for example under conditions of lipid maldigestion or malabsorption. One embodiment of the present invention relates to a composition comprising a sn-2 monoacylglycerol derivative, wherein the sn-1 and sn-3 positions are blocked by protective groups. The acyl group may be a fatty acid, for example one with anti-inflammatory properties.

Abstract:
The present invention relates generally to the field of flavan-3-ols. In particular, the present invention provides a way to increase the bioavailability of flavan-3-ols. Embodiments of the present invention relate to the use of at least one polyphenolic compound in a composition comprising at least one flavan-3-ol for increasing the bioavailability of said flavan-3-ol, wherein the at least one polyphenolic compound is selected from a group consisting of flavonols, flavones, isoflavones, flavanones, or combinations thereof.
