Abstract: A dishwasher and a control method thereof are disclosed. The dishwasher includes a tub accommodating an object to be washed, a spray arm rotatably provided inside the tub to spray wash water toward the object to be washed, a sump for storing wash water and collecting wash water sprayed into the tub therein, a filter separably mounted to the sump to remove foreign substances from wash water, a wash pump for supplying wash water stored in the sump to the spray arm, and a circulation passage for diverting at least a portion of the wash water supplied to the spray arm by the wash pump to the sump. After the dishes are washed, all of the wash water introduced into the wash pump is diverted into the filter. Foreign substances present in the wash water are collected in the filter and are discharged outside along with the wash water.

Abstract: The preset disclosure relates to a dishwasher. The dishwasher includes: a tub defining a washing space; a sump disposed below the tub and configured to store wash water therein; a pump configured to supply the wash water stored in the sump to the tub; and a spray arm configured to supply wash water flowing from the pump to the washing space. The spray arm includes: a spray blade configured to spray wash water into the washing space; a bubble generator having therein a bubble generation flow path of a venturi tube shape and configured to supply wash water containing a microbubble to the washing space; and a hub configured to supply wash water discharged from the pump to the spray blade or the bubble generator. The spray arm sprays wash water through the spray blade while simultaneously generating a microbubble through the bubble generator.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a dishwasher. The dishwasher of the present disclosure includes a tub forming a washing space, a sump disposed below the tub and storing washing water flowing from the tub, a pump configured to supply the washing water stored in the sump to the washing space, and a spray arm configured to discharge the washing water flowing from the pump into the washing space. A channel is formed inside the spray arm to spray the washing water into the washing space or discharge the washing water containing microbubbles into the washing space. The spray arm includes an upper cover and a lower cover coupled to a lower side of the upper cover, a flat surface is formed on a surface facing each other in one of the upper cover and the lower cover, and a pair of inner ribs protruding toward the flat surface to form the channel to be in contact with the flat surface is formed in the other of the upper cover and the lower cover.
