Abstract:
According to the present disclosure, devices, systems, and methods for locating, tracking, and conducting communications between care devices and networks of care facilities through local communications hubs.
Abstract:
A patient bed is provided in a healthcare facility having a network including a real time locating system (RTLS) and an electronic medical records (EMR) computer. The patient bed includes bed control circuitry that is configured to receive at least one protocol messages from the EMR computer and, in response to the at least one protocol message, enables at least one bed safety protocol in which at least one bed condition is monitored by the bed control circuitry. The bed control circuitry generates an alert in response to the at least one bed condition being in an undesirable state and no caregiver being present in the patient room as determined by the RTLS and communicated to the bed circuitry. The bed control circuitry suspends monitoring the at least one bed condition in response to the RTLS indicating to the bed control circuitry that at least one caregiver is present in the patient room.
Abstract:
According to the present disclosure, a hygiene compliance system includes a handwash sensor, a badge, an occupant sensor, and a remote computer. The sensors and the badge may communicate with the remote computer to provide information regarding hygiene events. The hygiene compliance system determines whether the hygiene events comply with a hygiene operations scheme.

Abstract:
An information technology system for a healthcare facility is provided. The system includes a first computer device to keep track of rounding intervals for caregivers and to determine whether the caregivers successfully complete their rounds in a timely manner for their assigned patients. The system also has a real time locating system (RTLS) that tracks locations of the plurality of caregivers and that is in communication with the first computer device. The system further has a number of graphical displays in communication with the first computer device. Each graphical display is operable to display a list of patients for whom rounds are due and to display reminder messages to the plurality of caregivers relating to rounding.
Abstract:
Technologies for monitoring hand hygiene compliance of a user include a remote analysis server configured to receive an indication from a plurality of hand hygiene devices. The hand hygiene devices include one or more disinfectant hand rub dispensing devices and one or more soap dispensing devices. The remote analysis server is further configured to manage a compliance counter for the user based a number of times disinfectant hand rub dispensing device and compare the compliance counter to a non-compliance threshold of the hand hygiene policy. The remote analysis server is configured to transmit a notification of compliance or non-compliance based on whether the compliance counter is greater than or equal to the non-compliance threshold. A threshold of compliance is customizable based on a room type designation.
