    Abstract: A computing device is described that receives, at a first particular time, first notification data. Responsive to receiving the first notification data, the computing device outputs, at a first intensity level, a first alert associated with the first notification data. The computing device receives, at a second particular time after the first particular time, second notification data. Responsive to the computing device receiving an indication of user interaction with the computing device between the first particular time and the second particular time, the computing device outputs, at the first intensity level, a second alert associated with the second notification data. Conversely, responsive to the computing device not receiving the indication of user interaction with the computing device, the computing device either outputs, at a second intensity level that is less than the first intensity level, the second alert, or refrains from outputting the second alert entirely.

    Abstract: An example method includes receiving, by a head-mountable device (HMD), data corresponding to an information event, and providing an indication corresponding to the information event in response to receiving the data. The method further includes determining a gaze direction of an eye and determining that the gaze direction of the eye is an upward direction that corresponds to a location of a display of the HMD. The display is located in an upper periphery of a forward-looking field of view of the eye when the HMD is worn. The method further includes, in response to determining that the gaze direction of the eye is the upward direction, displaying graphical content related to the information event in the display.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for providing content based on shared interests during a social event are provided. In some implementations, the method comprises: determining, using a hardware processor, that a social event is in progress; receiving identifying information of one or more users attending the social event; identifying the one or more users attending the social event based on the identifying information; causing publicly available information about one or more interests of the identified one or more users to be retrieved; extracting interests common to at least two of the identified one or more users from the retrieved publicly available information; and causing content to be presented based on the extracted interests.

In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, by one or more computing devices, a message comprising audio content and visual media content.
