Abstract: A water wash system (10) for a gas turbine engine includes a pump (50) configured to receive a flow of wash liquid and pressurize the flow of wash liquid. The water wash system additionally includes a nozzle distribution assembly (56) fluidly connected to the pump, and a plurality of wash lines (58) fluidly connected to the nozzle distribution assembly. Further, a plurality of spray nozzles (74) are included, with each of the plurality spray nozzles attached to a respective wash line and configured for extending at least partially into or through one or more borescope holes (146) of the gas turbine engine for providing a portion of the flow of pressurized wash liquid to the gas turbine engine.

Abstract: The disclosure of the present invention relates to a method for preparing membrane and associated membrane and filter element. The method comprises providing a porous substrate having a plurality of pores; and applying a pre-filler solution to at least partially occupy the pores in the porous substrate. The membrane comprises a porous substrate and a filter layer formed on the porous substrate. The filter element comprises a core tube; and a membrane as prepared and rolled around the core tube.
