Abstract: A rotating electric machine includes a non-rotating member, a stator fixed to the non-rotating member, a field coil fixed to the non-rotating member, disposed on an inner diameter side of the stator, and having an iron core and a winding wound around the iron core, and a rotor rotatably disposed between the stator and the field coil. The rotor includes a first rotor portion and a second rotor portion. The rotating electric machine further comprises a positioning member disposed in each of the first gap, the second gap, and the third gap to position each of the first rotor portion and the second rotor portion in the circumferential direction and the extending direction.

Abstract: A brushless winding field type rotary electric machine between a starting device and a stationary case, having a stator held in the case and internally equipped with an AC coil generating a rotating magnetic field by an AC current; a field core held in the case and internally equipped with a field coil excited by a DC current; a rotor disposed around the starting device outer periphery and rotatable with respect to the stator and the field coil; a first air gap formed between the stator and the rotor, delivering a magnetic flux between the two; a second air gap formed between the field core and the rotor, delivering a magnetic flux between the two. The second air gap has an inclined section inclined with respect to a rotation shaft axial direction so that the rotor radially outer portion is positioned on the radially outer side than the field core.

The magnetic flux of the field coil passes from the field core through the rotor via the second air gap, the stator and rotor via the first air gap, the rotor side core portion, and the field core via the third air gap.

Abstract: A mobile object control device controls an electric motor assisting traveling of a mobile object. The mobile object control device includes a rolling resistance calculation section, a power loss calculation section, and an assist force calculation section. The rolling resistance calculation section calculates a rolling resistance based on a set weight set by a user. The power loss calculation section calculates a power loss caused until a power outputted from the electric motor is transmitted to a drive wheel. The assist force calculation section calculates an assist force of the electric motor based on an acceleration of the mobile object, the set weight, the rolling resistance calculated by the rolling resistance calculation section, the power loss calculated by the power loss calculation section, and an assist ratio.

Abstract: A rotary electrical machine includes a stator, a field core, a rotor, and first and second air gaps. The stator includes an AC coil that generates a rotating magnetic field with an alternating current. The field core includes a field coil excited by a direct current. The rotor is disposed on an outer circumference of a starting apparatus and held rotatably about a rotational axis relative to the stator and the field coil. The first air gap is formed between the stator and the rotor, and allows a magnetic flux to flow therebetween. The second air gap is formed between the field core and the rotor, and allows a magnetic flux to flow therebetween. The second air gap defines an interval extending along a direction that intersects an axial direction of the rotational axis on one end surface of the rotor in the axial direction of the rotational axis.
