摘要: A method for manufacturing electrodes using an electrostatic deposition unit. In the first step of the process a mixture of magnetic carrier beads and a conductive powder is prepared in the sump of the deposition unit; the mixture forms a magnetic brush on the sleeve of the deposition unit. In the second step of the process, the substrate is positioned away from the magnetic brush to form an air gap. In the third step of the process, a voltage is applied between the substrate and the sleeve of the deposition unit in order to produce a large asymmetry between the magnetic brush and said substrate such that the electric field at the magnetic brush is at least 3.0 times as great as the electric field at the substrate. In the fourth step of the process, conductive powder is deposited onto the substrate.

摘要: A system, processor, and method to predict with high accuracy and retain instruction boundaries for previously executed instructions in order to decode variable length instructions is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, a disclosed processor includes an instruction fetch unit, an instruction cache, a boundary byte predictor, and an instruction decoder. In some embodiments, the instruction fetch unit provides an instruction address and the instruction cache produces an instruction tag and instruction cache content corresponding to the instruction address. The instruction decoder, in some embodiments, includes boundary byte logic to determine an instruction boundary in the instruction cache content.

摘要: A computer implemented method is described. Data is collected about a number of member entities that have online interaction with a group entity. A predefined state is assigned to a selected one of the member entities automatically, in response to applying a predefined rule to analyze some of the collected data. The rule is defined in part by the group entity. The method automatically determines whether or not online content is to be delivered to the selected member entity, based on the assigned state. In another embodiment, online content that is to be delivered to the selected member entity is automatically personalized for the selected member entity, again based on the assigned state. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

摘要: A computer-implemented method is performed during an online chat session between a customer service representative (CSR) of a merchant, and the merchant's customer. Conversational text of the session is analyzed to determine a mood of the customer. Previously collected information about the customer is accessed, from a database that stores information about customers of the merchant. A tip is determined and sent to be displayed to the CSR. The tip is determined based on the mood and the accessed previously collected information. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

摘要: A data receiver is provided which includes a front end interface circuit having an alternating current (AC) transmission receiving mode and a direct current (DC) transmission receiving mode. The front end interface circuit includes an offset compensation circuit operable to compensate a DC voltage offset between a pair of differential signals input to the data receiver. The front end interface circuit further includes an AC/DC selection unit operable to switch between (a) the DC transmission receiving mode, and (b) the AC transmission receiving mode, such that the data receiver is operable in (i) the DC transmission mode in which the offset compensation circuit is disabled, (ii) the DC transmission mode in which the offset compensation circuit is enabled, (iii) the AC transmission mode in which the offset compensation circuit is disabled, and (iv) the AC transmission receiving mode in which the offset compensation circuit is enabled.
