摘要: A system, method, apparatus, and computer program product for generating a cabling plan for a computing system are disclosed. A method may include accessing an elevation plan defining a respective mount position for each of a set of components of the computing system. The method may also include determining one or more port pairs to be used for interconnecting the plurality of components. The method may further include determining, for each port pair, a cable length to use to connect the port pair. The cable length may be determined based at least in part on mount positions defined by the elevation plan for the two components connected by the port pair. The method may additionally include generating a cabling plan defining the cable length to use to connect each respective port pair.

摘要: Methods, systems, and computer readable mediums for securely establishing credential data for a computing device are disclosed. According to one example, a method includes assigning, by a credential manager, credential set data to a computing device and mapping the credential set data to a device identifier key associated with the computing device in a credential data store accessible by the credential manager. The method further includes receiving, from a provisioning service client, a credential set request message including the device identifier key by the credential manager in response to an activation of the computing device at a customer location site and sending, by the credential manager to the provisioning service client, the credential set data for authenticating the computing device at the customer location site.

摘要: A system for determining when to order computing resources includes one or more processors to receive a request to determine when to order computing resources for a computing environment, receive at least one report for the computing environment, the report detailing past usage of at least one object included in the computing environment over a period of time, compute future usage of the at least one object included in the computing environment based on estimated growth of utilization of the at least one object included in the computing environment using data in the at least one usage report, determine at least one recommended reorder point for an upgrade to the at least one object and at least one recommended upgrade for the computing environment based on the past usage, the future usage, and a time to complete and deploy the at least one recommended upgrade to the computing environment.

摘要: A computer implemented system and method, and a computer program product, for allocating virtualized information technology resources across an enterprise. For example, a method may include accessing hierarchical enterprise information, which is information identifying a plurality of hierarchically arranged organizational units of the enterprise. The method accesses virtualized resource information, which is information identifying virtualized resource available to the enterprise. The method also accesses virtualized resource allocation information, which is information identifying one or more of the plurality of hierarchically arranged organizational units and information identifying one or more virtualized resources allocated to each of the identified one or more of the plurality of hierarchically arranged organizational units. The method may receive a virtualized resources request from one of the plurality of hierarchically arranged organizational units, which identifies one or more virtualized resources requested by the one of the plurality of hierarchically arranged organizational units. Responsive to receiving the virtualized resources request, the method determines whether provisioning each of the virtualized resources identified in the virtualized resources request does not exceed the virtualized resources allocated to the one of the plurality of hierarchically arranged organizational units from which the virtualized resource request was received. If not, the method causes the provisioning each of the virtualized resources identified in the virtualized resources request to the one of the plurality of hierarchically arranged organizational units from which the virtualized resource request was received.

摘要: Methods, systems, and computer readable mediums for creating a tenant cloud are disclosed. According to one exemplary embodiment, a method for creating a tenant cloud includes receiving a request for creating a tenant cloud, wherein the request includes a tenant cloud policy indicating at least one application for utilizing a tenant cloud, wherein the tenant cloud includes a set of resources configured to act as a single tenant computing environment. The method also includes determining, using the tenant cloud policy, a set of resources for the tenant cloud. The method further includes configuring the set of resources to act as the single tenant computing environment. The method also includes deploying the at least one application for utilizing the tenant cloud.

摘要: An integrated computing system configuration system includes a computing system that executes an engine to receive component specifications for each of one or more components supplied by a plurality of suppliers, and receive user input for selecting a subset of the components to be implemented in a customized integrated computing system by generating a base integrated computing system configuration that comprises the component specifications of the subset of the components. The engine may then apply one or more rules to at least one of the component specifications to verify the subset of components, the rule specifying an architectural standard level to be provided by the at least one component, and display the results of the verification on a display.

摘要: Methods, systems, and computer readable mediums for determining a system performance indicator representative of the overall operation of a network system are disclosed. According to one example, a method includes obtaining, from a plurality of infrastructure elements included in a network system, performance metric data associated with a plurality of application processes being executed by the plurality of infrastructure elements. The method further includes consolidating analogous portions of the performance metric data into a plurality of performance metric data groups irrespective of the plurality of infrastructure elements and utilizing the plurality of performance metric data groups to determine a system performance indicator (SPI) value that represents an overall performance level of the network system.
