A universal adjustable breaker lock device for a switch handle includes at least two locking members each having a channel adapted to accommodate the switch handle. The locking members are coupled to a translation member allowing the locking members to translate along a longitudinal axis of the translation member. A lever arm extends from a base wall or the translation member a distance greater than the width of the channel. In alternate embodiments, a cover, with two apertures, is disposed on the lever arm, to prevent engagement with a fastener. In the alternative embodiment, a lock may be disposed through the apertures to prevent removal of the universal breaker lock device while in use.

An electrical splice box comprising an enclosure formed by a plurality of sidewalls surrounding a baseplate and extending substantially perpendicularly from the baseplate. The enclosure has an open side opposite the baseplate and is configured to enclose electrical splices. A cover may be removably attached to the open side of the enclosure. A plurality of slots are formed in at least some of the sidewalls, where at least some of the sidewalls have at least one slot. A plurality of cable locks are removably attached to the baseplate. Each cable lock is positioned at a corresponding slot to receive and to hold a cable inserted into the slot.

The channel includes a width defined by a distance measured between the first and second side walls. A lever arm extends from the base wall a distance greater than the width of the channel. An electrical grounding device includes a first collar member having first inner and outer wall surfaces, a first flange projecting from the first inner wall surface, and a first shoulder projection extending radially from the first outer wall surface. The device further includes a second collar member having second inner and outer wall surfaces, a second flange projecting from the second inner wall surface, and a second shoulder projection extending radially from the second outer wall surface. Further, the device includes a thickened wall region including an aperture passing transversely therethrough, wherein the thickened wall region is disposed in the outer wall surface of at least one of the first and second collar members. A fastener is operably associated with the first and second shoulder projections to removably couple the first and second shoulder projections together. Such coupling configures the first and second inner wall surfaces to define an opening disposed through the electrical grounding device.

A Chicago-style plenum-type electrical junction box provides an air impermeable barrier between a box support structure and a junction enclosure. The junction box comprises a base plate and a peripheral wall, the peripheral wall extending from the base plate such that the base plate and peripheral wall define the junction enclosure. The base plate preferably comprises a series of fastener knockouts so as to provide an air impermeable barrier. The fastener knockouts are selectively removable for exposing a series of fastener-receiving apertures. The fastener-receiving apertures receive a series of fasteners for sealing the fastener-receiving apertures when fastening the junction box to the box support structure thereby providing an air tight barrier between the box support structure and the junction enclosure.

A swivel fixture hanger assembly having a conduit box, a conduit box cover, and a swivel connector. The cover has a stationary cover section and a moveable cover section shaped to mate with the stationary cover section providing a seat for a swivel connector and coacting to define a central opening. A rigid strap pivotally connected to the stationary cover section and fixedly connected to the moveable cover section pivots the moveable cover section into and out of engagement with the stationary cover section. A fastener fastens a second end of the strap to the stationary cover section when the moveable cover section is engaged with the stationary cover section. The swivel connector has a scatable portion shaped to engage the seat of the cover and a connector portion extending through the central opening of the cover.

This invention concerns a one piece device which is directly mounted by an installation gun to support electrical wires to a flat surface such as a ceiling or a wall. The device comprises a mounting portion, a distancing portion, a receiving portion, and a fastening portion. The mounting portion has a looped terminal which is positioned flush against the surface. The distancing portion is perpendicularly joined to the mounting portion and extends away from the surface to define a clearance distance. The receiving portion is joined to the distancing portion and comprises a looped wire receiving portion for receiving and supporting an electrical wire. The fastening portion is attached to the looped terminal for fastening to the surface.
