Abstract: A relational similarity determination engine receives as input a dataset including a set of entities and co-occurrence data that defines co-occurrence relations for pairs of the entities. The relational similarity determination engine also receives as input side information defining explicit relations between the entities. The relational similarity determination engine jointly models the co-occurrence relations and the explicit relations for the entities to compute a similarity metric for each different pair of entities within the dataset. Based on the computed similarity metrics, the relational similarity determination engine identifies a most similar replacement entity from the dataset for each of the entities within the dataset. For a select entity received as an input, the relational similarity determination engine outputs the identified most similar replacement entity.

Abstract: A set of levels of a game is displayed and a user selection of one of the levels detected. It is determined that the user is partaking in a fragment collection event, the fragment collection event defining a set of collection conditions, and that one of the collection conditions is satisfied. Fragments are assigned to the user, the fragments having no utility within a game environment, wherein only one collection condition can be satisfied per level selection. A fragment count is stored, where assigning the one or more fragments to the user comprises incrementing the fragment count associated with the user by a predefined amount associated with the satisfied collection condition. When the fragment count is equal to or greater than a threshold fragment count, the fragment count is decreased by an amount equal to the threshold fragment count and a utility object assigned to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for using opportunistically delayed delivery of content to address sub-optimal bandwidth resource usage in network infrastructures that allow subscribers to share forward link resources. According to some embodiments, content is identified as delayable and assigned to a delaycast queue and/or service flow. For example, a server system of a satellite communications system identifies content that can be delayed to exploit future excess link capacity through multicasting and to exploit subscriber-side storage resources. Some implementations attempt to exploit any excess link resources at any time, while others exploit unused bandwidth only during certain times or when a certain threshold of resources is available. Various embodiments also provide content scoring and/or other prioritization techniques for optimizing exploitation of the delaycast queue.

Abstract: Disclosed is a scanning interference photolithography system, comprising a heterodyne optical path, a first interference optical path, a second interference optical path, a motion platform and a control subsystem, wherein a substrate is carried on the motion platform, a displacement measurement interferometer is used to measure the displacement of the motion platform, a first light beam and a second light beam are focused on the substrate for interference exposure; the control subsystem generates instructions according to various measurement information, adjusts angles of corresponding devices or the phase of a light beam, and locks the phase shift of interference exposure fringes of the first light beam and the second light beam. The system has a high precision of fringe pattern locking and a high laser utilization rate, and can be used for producing a large-area high-precision dense grating line gradient periodic grating.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include systems and methods for compressing and decompressing data generated by sub-blocks in a neural network. In some embodiment, an input matrix is received at a compression block in the neural network. The compression block compresses the input matrix into a compressed matrix and outputs the compressed matrix. The compressed matrix has a reduced dimensionality relative to a dimensionality of the input matrix. A decompression block retrieves the compressed matrix. The decompression block decompresses compressed matrix into a decompressed matrix and outputs the decompressed matrix. The decompressed matrix has a same dimensionality as the dimensionality of the input matrix. The compression and decompression blocks are optimized based on feedback received from the neural network.

Abstract: An identity verification device for verification of a digital credential includes a user device communication interface for operative communication with a user device associated with a human user. The user device communication interface is operative to receive from the user device the digital credential of the human user stored locally on the user device. The device also includes a relying party communication interface operative to send a request to an intermediary credential service platform for verification of the digital credential presented by the user device, and to receive verification of the digital credential from the platform after application of an issuing authority credentialing standard to the digital credential. The device further includes a verification indicator operative to provide an indication of verification status of the digital credential to the relying party associated with the identity verification device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying onboard service information for vessels are described. In some embodiments, a method comprises obtaining time range data indicating a time range; obtaining corresponding trips within the time range for each of a plurality of vessels; and obtaining status of an onboard service provided during each trip of the corresponding trips for each of the plurality of vessels. In response to receiving a request for displaying service performance information for the plurality of vessels, first graphical interface data is generated. The data represents a plurality of vessel identifiers that corresponds to the plurality of vessels; a plurality of trip icons for the corresponding trips for each of the plurality of vessels, and a timeline that represents the time range. The data is transmitted to a display device to cause the display device to generate and to display a trip-schedule viewer representation.
