    摘要: A lancing device with a depth-adjustment mechanism including an adjustably-positioned stop surface, a movable control member operably coupled thereto, and a resiliently deflectable leg that engages the stop surface and a lancet carrier to provide a soft stop for the lancet carrier. The lancet carrier deflects the leg in a forward phase of the lancing stroke, and then the leg contacts the stop surface to stop the forward motion of the lancet carrier at an extended lancing position. The stop surface can be adjustably positioned so that different portions thereof are engaged to stop the lancet carrier at deeper or shallower positions. In example embodiments, the depth-adjustment mechanism includes a rotary dial and an extension arm of the leg, with the dial including a rotary wheel and a rotary shaft extending axially therefrom, the wheel forming the movable adjustment member, and the shaft forming the adjustably positioned stop surface.

    摘要: An adjustable bouncing frame for a child support device including a support frame coupled between a base portion and a child seat platform of the child support device. The support frame is configured to support the child seat platform a distance above the base portion which rests on a support surface. The adjustable bouncing frame generally includes at least one support member that is slidingly coupled to the child support device at a first end. Lateral movement of the first end of the support member can adjust the height of the child seat platform relative to the base. The frame can also include a resilient member that allows for reciprocal lateral motion of the first end of the support member which results in an up-and-down bouncing motion of the child seat platform.

    摘要: A processing plate assembly for mounting to a homogenizer and for holding tubes containing samples to be homogenized. The processing plate assembly includes a mounting structure and one or plural tube holders. The mounting structure removably or permanently mounts to the homogenizer and can be provided by for example a flat plate-like mounting structure. The tube holders are attached to the mounting structure and hold the tubes in generally tangential use positions with a centroid of each tube positioned along a longitudinal axis of the tube and axially offset from a radius line of the processing plate that is perpendicular to the tube axis. In this way, the homogenizer imparts sinusoidal swashing forces on the tubes that urge the tubes forward into securement in their tube holders and that produces improved homogenization in the tubes.
