摘要： A media feeding apparatus includes: a feed roller, a separation roller, and a pressing portion to press one of the feed roller and the separation roller against the other to form a nip region. A surface of the feed roller has grooves extending in a width direction of the feed roller. The grooves are arranged with a pitch such that at least one groove is always present in the nip region during feeding of the medium.
