    摘要: The invention relates to a stapler (10) for stapling sheet material by means of staples (12), each staple (12) having two staple legs (14) and a staple crown (16) interconnecting the staple legs (14) and extending transversely to them, with an anvil arm (26) having a support plate (38) for placing the sheet material thereon, the anvil arm (26) carrying a cutting pad (40) with two cutting edges (42) for cutting off excess end parts of the staple legs (14), with a stapling unit (30) that is pivotally mounted relative to the anvil arm (26), which stapling unit (30) comprises a staple magazine (32) receiving the staples (12) in a row with the staple crowns (16) mutually abutting and being aligned parallel to each other and a driver (36) for pushing individual staples (12) with the free ends of their staple legs (14) first through the sheet material, with a base part (18), on which the anvil arm (16) is mounted movably towards it against a restoring force, and with two two-armed bending levers (50) pivotably mounted on the anvil arm (26) about a respective pivot axis (52), each bending lever (50) having a first lever arm (54) with a bending surface (56) for bending the staple legs (14) and a second lever arm (58), wherein upon approach of the anvil arm (26) to the base part (18), the second lever arms (58) are pivoted by action of the base part (18) about the pivot axes (52) and the bending surfaces (56) bend the staple legs (14) towards each other and cut off any excess end portions by pressing against the cutting edges (42). According to the invention, it is provided that the pivot axes (52) extend substantially perpendicular to the staple crowns (16) of the staples (12) received in the staple magazine (32) and that the second lever arms (58) have end portions (66) beginning at their free ends (64) which are arranged offset to one another in the axial direction of the pivot axes (52) so that they move past one another as the anvil arm (26) approaches the base part (18).

    摘要: A locking device in a stapler is adapted to lock a member displaceable along a bar in an optional displacement position, said member carrying a catch for the object to be stapled. The locking device has a locking element connected to the displaceable member and displaceable together with the same, said locking elements having a through hole, through which the bar extends. The hole is designed such that the locking element is tiltable along the bar between a front position, pinch position, in which the locking element portion defining the hole engages the bar and pinches the locking element thereto, and a rear position, free position, in which this hole-defining portion goes clear of the bar. The locking element is spring biased towards its pinch position. The locking device further has an operating handle which is mounted on the displaceable member and operable from the outside of the stapler, said operating handle being displaceable to a limited extent in relation to the displaceable member and essentially parallel with the bar in order to move, in connection with forwards displacement, the displaceable member and, thus, the catch forwards along the bar and in order to be engaged, in connection with backwards displacement, with the locking element and tilt the same towards its free position and thereby move the displaceable member and, thus, the catch backwards along the bar.

    摘要: Circuit-breaker arrangement (32) in an indicating arrangement (33) forming part of an electrically powered stapler (1). The stapler comprises a stapling head (2) and an anvil (3). The stapling head comprises an interchangeably fitted staple cassette (5) containing staple blanks (36), and the indicating arrangement. The circuit-breaker arrangement is so positioned that it is moved by the staple cassette from a first to a second position when the staple cassette is fitted to the stapling head and when the power supply via the indicating arrangement changes. The circuit-breaker arrangement (32) comprises an input line (22) and output line (23), of which at least the input line is dimensionally stable and resiliency flexible. The input line is impinged upon by an electrically non-conductive region (34) of the staple cassette when the latter is fitted to the stapling head, with the result that the line is moved against its resilient resistance so that the circuit-breaker arrangement switches from the first position to the second position. The resilient resistance returns the circuit-breaker arrangement to the first position when the cassette is removed from the stapling head.
