摘要: A charging management method for multiple battery packs comprises determining a target charging current of each battery pack according to a sampled temperature of each battery pack and a sampled voltage of each battery pack; calculating a difference between the sum of the target charging currents of various battery packs and the sum of sampled charging currents of the various battery packs, to obtain a total PI adjustment value; sending the total PI adjustment value to a charging device, to enable the charging device to adjust a total charging current according to the total PI adjustment value; determining a charging current of each battery pack according to the sampled charging current of each battery pack and the total charging current, and determining a charging voltage of each battery pack according to the sampled voltage of each battery pack.

摘要: A method is provided for determining a capacity of a traction battery. The method includes initiating and/or waiting a predetermined time during which a battery current is below a threshold amount. The method proceeds by selecting an OCV characteristic curve from a group of such curves (31-33, 41-43) based on at least two parameters (P1, P2, . . . Pn). At least one parameter (P1) describes a cell characteristic of battery cells used in the traction battery, and at least a second parameter (P2) describes an operating parameter of the traction battery prior to the predetermined time and/or during the predetermined time. The method continues by determining an open circuit voltage of the traction battery after the predetermined time has elapsed and determining the capacity of the battery based on the selected OCV characteristic curve.

摘要: A method for controlling battery banks may include measuring bank voltages of the battery banks, determining a first contact resistance of one or more internal resistance components for each of the battery banks, determining a second contact resistance of one or more external resistance components for each of the battery banks, determining a contact resistance for each of the battery banks based on the first contact resistance and the second contact resistance, determining each of compensation bank voltages by subtracting a voltage drop due to a corresponding one of the contact resistances from a respective one of the bank voltages, and controlling the battery banks based on at least one of the bank voltages and the compensation bank voltages. The method may be performed by a battery control system. A battery system using the method is also provided.

The measurement apparatus is incorporated into a structure of the electric battery cell, forming an integral part of the electric battery cell. The maturation process further comprises determining whether electric battery cell is defective in dependence on the at least one measurement.
