Abstract:
A removably attachable device for removably attaching a cigar to a magnetically attractable object is disclosed. In one embodiment, the device utilizes a plurality of magnetically attractable members for removably attaching the device to the cigar and for removably attaching the cigar to a magnetically attractable object. In one embodiment, the device consists of a conformable, band-like member with a plurality of magnetically attractable members secured to the conformable, band-like member, the magnetically attractable members having the spacing such that when the conformable, band-like member is conformed around the circumference of a cigar, the magnetically attractable members are positioned relative to one another such that they are pulled towards each other through their magnetic attraction to one another, causing the conformable, band-like member to impart a securing force around the circumference of the cigar, thus securing the cigar. Spacing of the plurality of magnetically attractable members is varied to provide varying force to be imparted on the circumference of the cigar providing for varying fits of the conformable band-like member around the circumference of the cigar and providing the ability to accommodate varying cigar diameters. When two magnetically attractable objects are brought within close proximity to one another, they are magnetically attracted to each other and will removably attach to one another. The orientation of magnetically attractable objects with respect to one another is specific and repeatable. If each magnetically attractable object is a magnet, the north pole of one magnet is attracted to the south pole of another magnet and the centers of the magnetic poles tend towards alignment with one another. This results in the magnetic attraction between the magnets tending to cause the magnets to center on one another such that the poles are aligned. When the magnets are positioned such that the north face of one magnet is placed in contact with or in close proximity to the south face of another magnet such that the magnetic poles are parallel to one another and are oriented off-center relative to one another, the magnetically attractable force between the magnets pulls the magnets towards each other to a centering position that tends to align the magnetic poles along a common centerline. In one embodiment the current invention utilizes this phenomena to act as a magnetic spring force that provides tension in the conformable band-like member that is conformed around the circumference of the cigar imparting a retaining force on the cigar and securing the cigar within the conformable band-like member. Once the cigar is secured within the conformable, band-like member by the plurality of magnetically attractable members, the plurality of magnetically attractable members additionally provide for removably attaching the cigar to a magnetically attractable object.
Abstract:
A cigarette holding apparatus for a cigarette includes a first cigarette pin and a second cigarette pin. The first cigarette pin has a first holding portion, a first clamping portion and a first hinge portion formed between the first holding portion and the first clamping portion, the first clamping portion has a first clamping indention. The second cigarette pin has a second holding portion, a second clamping portion and a second hinge portion formed between the second holding portion and the second clamping portion. The second clamping portion has a second clamping indention. The first hinge portion and the second hinge portion are pivotally connected with each other so that the cigarette holding apparatus is arranged to move between a releasing mode and a clamping mode.
Abstract:
This disclosure provides a cigar band comprising two annular-shaped halves, a clasp mechanism, a hinge mechanism, and at least one spring mechanism. The clasp mechanism is along one side edge of each annular-shaped half and is configured to allow for the separation and union of the two halves along the one side edge. The hinge mechanism is along the opposing side edge of each annular-shaped half and is configured to allow for the movement of the two halves about an axis. The cigar band also has at least one spring mechanism attached to at least one annular-shaped half. The cigar band is configured to open about the axis and maintain a cigar within the space defined by the two annular-shaped halves as a result of the pressure of the at least one spring mechanism once the cigar band is closed.
Abstract:
A cigarette holder, including a hollow tube having a front end serving as a mouthpiece and a rear end over which the non-burning end of a cigarette is receivable and a clip attached to the tube. The clip includes a pair of cooperating, opposing, openable jaws to removably hold the non-burning end of the cigarette over the rear end of the tube, to form an airtight seal. The jaws each have an opposing end tip and are movable from a closed position where the end tips are in contact with each other to an open position where the end tips are spaced apart from each other. The jaws can also be used to open the non-burning end of the cigarette so that it fits over the rear end of the tube.
Abstract:
The invention features a two-piece holder which features an expandable opening sized to receive and support numerous size cigars. The opening features ridge cuts that aid in holding a cigar in its desired position. The handle of the holder affords the user the opportunity to smoke the body of the cigar to the fullest possible extent without burning the smoker's fingers.
Abstract:
An extensible wire-reeling cigarette clamp specifically used in a car includes an extensible rod, a reel, a reel slider and a clamping spring. The extensible rod is fixed on a fixing board locked on a bracket of a rear-view mirror of a car, the reel is connected at an end of the extensible rod, the reel slider is connected to a wire in the reel, and the clamping spring is connected with the reel slider. To smoke a cigarette, a smoker in the car only needs to pull the reel slider gently and then the cigarette on the clamping spring can be drawn into the smoker's mouth for smoking. After smoking, the smoker only tugs the reel slider and then the reel can wind the reel slider automatically to its original position. As the smoker smokes without glancing at the cigarette clamp, the safety of driving is assured.
Abstract:
A Cigarette body for a smoke-free cigarette, the cigarette body (12) of which has a cylindrical body with an air inlet at one end and an air outlet at the other end, an air channel linking the air inlet with the air outlet and a heating device (26) to warm the air passing through the channel, with the end designed with an air outlet attachable to the end of a cylindrical mouthpiece (10) containing a deposit for a pleasure-giving stimulant (58) and designed with a suction opening (18), so that following the application of negative pressure to the suction opening, the pleasure-giving stimulant is evaporated by the warmed air flowing through the channel and exits together with the air via the suction opening, with this characterized by the fact that the surface of the body (24) facing radially outwards contains thermal material which insulates it from the inside and encloses a structuring heat conductor (26) made from thermally conducting material, which is accessible through the air inlet and for which the end facing away from the air inlet is directly attached to the pleasure-giving stimulant deposit (38).
Abstract:
A smokeless cigarette filter device has a barrel fabricated out of molded, heat resistant durable material. A structure on a first end of the barrel is for covering the mouth and nose of a smoker. An element is provided for holding a cigarette within the barrel, so that a butt end of the cigarette can enter the mouth and nose covering structure. A component is provided for lighting a distal end of the cigarette within the barrel when the smoker inhales. An assembly is on a second end of the barrel, for filtering harmful first and second hand smoke coming from the lit cigarette and the smoker, so as to prevent the smoke from ever reaching the outside air. An apparatus is provided for extinguishing the cigarette within the barrel, when the smoker is done smoking the cigarette.
