During the transport of the blank stacks (14) in the direction of their longitudinal extension, the band (15) surrounding the blank stack (14) in the transverse direction is severed on the underside (bottom wall 19) by a stationary severing knife (35). The blank stack (14), together with the severed band (15), is conveyed further to a point above a magazine shaft (13, 13a). The bag splitter assembly comprises a series of pivotally mounted splitter blades which is located above a bag transporting conveyor. The confronting serrated edges of the splitter blades tear open the conveyed bags while the trailing serrated portion of the blades grip the torn bags allowing the conveyor to separate the contents from the retained bag.

摘要： A compressed wastepaper block fastened by a plurality of wires is placed on a working table, and deformed or bent arcuately on the working table. After the compressed wastepaper block is bent, wires exposed in a concave created by the bent compressed wastepaper block are gripped by a presser/wire clamp, and a cutter is thrust substantially centrally into a convex side of the compressed wastepaper block which is opposite to the concave, thereby to cut off the exposed wires. The wires thus cut off are then removed from the compressed wastepaper block.

摘要： An apparatus for removing binding wire from a bale. The bale containing a plurality of peripheral baling wires is supported on a conveyor and a cutting knife moves vertically along the bale to cut the wires. A pair of gripping knives are located on the opposite side of the bale from the cutting knife and the gripping knives more respectively from the upper and lower ends of the bale toward the vertical midpoint of the bale to gather the cut wires together. The gathered cut wires are engaged by a rotatable winding mechanism which acts to wind the cut wires and remove the wound wires to a discharge site.
