Abstract: In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a mobile communication device during a first cycle, a periodic grant via a first carrier of a plurality of carriers, monitoring, by the mobile communication device during a next cycle after the first cycle, for configured grants (CGs) for multiple carriers of the plurality of carriers based on the periodic grant, and receiving, by the mobile communication device during the next cycle after the first cycle, a first transmission in a first CG of the CGs via a second carrier of the plurality of carriers and a second transmission in a second CG of the CGs via a third carrier of the plurality of carriers. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for dynamic indication of tracking references signal (TRS) and wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) that is operating in a first operating mode may receive one or more TRS parameters from a network entity for the UE to perform channel measurements associated with one or more TRSs. The UE may receive a dynamic paging indicator message that indicates a set of updated TRS parameters. The dynamic paging indicator may include at least one TRS parameter that is different from the one or more TRS parameters. The UE may then receive one or more TRSs, and may perform channel measurement in accordance with the set of updated TRS parameters.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may switch semi-persistently scheduled (SPS) or configured grant (CG) transmissions for a user equipment (UE) across component carriers according to a resource switching pattern to avoid resource conflict with control information on one or more component carriers. The resource switching pattern may have multiple flows spanning different component over a time interval for redundancy. According to some aspects, a base station may transmit a synchronization signal block (SSB) in one of a set of flexible SSB locations or candidate SSB locations, where each of the set of candidate SSB locations is associated with a respective SSB identifier.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support sub-slot based Type-1 hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback codebook generation. In aspects, techniques are provided for generating a set of candidate physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) reception occasions for an active bandwidth part (BWP) of a downlink (DL) serving cell. In aspects, a user equipment (UE) obtains a set of UL sub-slots based, at least in part, on a set of K1 values, and then determines, for each UL sub-slot in the set of UL sub-slots, whether the UL sub-slots satisfy a predetermined overlapping condition with a current DL slot. A PDSCH reception occasions set is generated based, at least in part, on a set of time domain resource allocation (TDRA) candidates of the current DL slot and a determination that a current UL sub-slot satisfies the predetermined overlapping condition with the current DL slot.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may receive, from a user equipment (UE), a message that indicates whether the UE received a downlink transmission from the base station in a first frequency range. The base station may schedule one or more reference signal (RS) transmissions in the first frequency range and one or more RS transmissions in a second frequency range based at least in part on the message received from the UE, and reschedule the downlink transmission on a component carrier in either the first frequency range or the second frequency range based at least in part on channel quality information that is determined from the one or more RS transmissions in the first frequency range and the one or more RS transmissions in the second frequency range. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for reporting content processing times to a base station to allow the base station to efficiently schedule bi-directional communications one or more UEs. A content processing time may correspond to the time taken by a UE to process one or more downlink signals received in one or more downlink transmissions. In some examples, the UE may report a content processing time for each downlink transmission. In some examples, the UE may report one or more content processing times for multiple downlink transmissions. The base station may use the content processing times to configure an appropriate gap between downlink and uplink transmissions such that the UE may have sufficient time to process downlink signals before transmitting one or more uplink transmissions in response to the one or more downlink transmissions.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Interference between random access channel (RACH) transmissions and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) transmissions may be avoided with a RACH occasion forbidden mask and a dynamic indication of availability of downlink retransmission resources. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a RACH configuration and a forbidden mask associated with the RACH configuration. The UE may identify, from a set of random access occasions indicated by the RACH configuration, a subset of allowed random access occasions based on the forbidden mask. The UE may transmit a random access message during at least one allowed random access occasion of the subset. Additionally or alternatively, a base station may determine whether one or more transmissions on a component carrier (CC) were successful, and transmit downlink control information (DCI) indicating whether a set of random access occasions are available on the CC.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling configuring the UE with a set of frequency resources and a semi-persistent resource allocation indicating a semi-persistent resource occasion on each frequency resource of the set. The UE may monitor semi-persistent resource occasions on each of the set of frequency resources for a copy of a data transmission. If the UE receives and decodes the data transmission from at least one of the semi-persistent resource occasions, the UE may transmit an acknowledgement message on a frequency resource of the set. Additionally, the UE may refrain from transmitting a feedback message on the other frequency resources of the set. If the UE does not receive and successfully decode the data transmission from any of the semi-persistent resource occasions, the UE may transmit a negative acknowledgement message on one of the set of frequency resources.
