L is greater than Nr1. The UE receives Nr2 RF signals at the Nr2 antennas on a second time-frequency resource. The Nr2 RF signals carries the L layers of data. Nr2 is a positive integer. The UE obtains Nr1 baseband signals from the Nr1 RF signals. The UE obtains Nr2 baseband signals from the Nr2 RF signals. The UE determines the L layers of data based on the Nr1 baseband signals and the Nr2 baseband signals.

Abstract: A UE determines N1 component carriers on each of which the UE is configured to detect a respective one PDCCH in a slot. The UE determines N2 component carriers on each of which the UE is configured to detect respective at least two PDCCHs in the slot. The UE determines a total Q blind detections of PDCCH that the UE is capable of performing. The UE determines a first predetermined scaling factor X. The UE allocates M1 blind detections of the Q blind detections to be available on each of the N1 component carriers and M2 blind detections of the Q blind detections to be available on each of the N2 component carriers such that (N1*M1+N2*M2) is a largest integer no greater than Q. M2 equals to X*M1. The UE performs blind detections in accordance with the allocations.

Abstract: In one novel aspect, multiple TRPs information are provided for REG bundle configuration with PDCCH transmission and reception with multiple transmission points (TRPs). The UE configures a PDCCH associated with a CORESET comprising multiple CCEs, partitions the CORESET into multiple CCE groups associated with corresponding TCI-state, which corresponds to a source TRP, configures multiple resource element group (REG) bundles each with multiple resource elements (REs), and assumes the same precoder applied on PDCCH DMRS when the REs are in the same REG bundle and are associated with the same source TRP, and wherein each source TRP transmits corresponding portion of DCI data mapping to the corresponding first and second CCE group. In one embodiment, the REG bundles are predefined with each comprises only REs associated with the same source TRP. In another embodiment, each CCE group corresponding to a source TRP is indicated for the REG bundle configurations.

Abstract: Various examples with respect to frequency-selective precoding for uplink (UL) transmissions in mobile communications are described. A processor of a user equipment (UE) receives signaling from a network node of a wireless network. The processor then performs a codebook-based UL transmission to the network node with frequency-selective precoding in a subband of a plurality of subbands according to the signaling received from the network. For non-codebook-based UL transmissions, the processor performs a non-codebook-based UL transmission of a beamformed sounding reference signal (SRS) to the network node by determining a precoder and performing frequency-selective precoding on the SRS using the precoder with a size of precoder bundling for the frequency-selective precoding in a frequency domain known by the network node.

N is an integer greater than 0 and smaller than or equal to M. The UE determines N respective processing time periods for updating the N CSI reports. The UE determines a maximum processing time period that is the largest among the N respective processing time periods. The UE further determines whether to update the N CSI reports based on the maximum processing time period and the wait time period.

The UE obtains M1 modulated symbols to be transmitted on a selected section of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) of the UE, the M1 modulated symbols being for carrying a first category of uplink information. The UE maps J1 modulated symbols of the M1 modulated symbols to occupy each one of J1 resource elements (REs) that are available, in a consecutive (N1−1) symbol periods of the selected section of the PUSCH, for carrying modulated symbols that carries the first category of uplink information. The UE determines a number S1 based on K1 and a number T1. The UE maps K1 modulated symbols of the M1 modulated symbols to occupy K1 REs of the T1 REs such that two adjacent REs among the K1 REs being separated by at least (S1−1) REs.
