Abstract:
A system for moving a television set has a carrier slidably mounted in a casing. The television set is pivotally mounted in the carrier at a front portion of the carrier. A carrier driving motor and a television set rotating motor are provided. A memory is provided for storing positions of the carrier and an angular position of the television set. A control unit is provided for controlling the carrier driving motor and the television set rotating motor in accordance with the positions stored in the memory for moving the carrier between a forward position and a backward position in the casing and for rotating the television set between a downward position and a standing position. Thus the television set is moved between a retracted position in the casing and the standing position outside the casing.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a process for producing a grid for use in lead acid batteries which comprises superposing a sheet or a foil of a lead alloy on a sheet bar composed of a lead-calcium alloy, said sheet or foil of lead alloy having a composition different from that of the sheet bar and having a thickness smaller than that of the sheet bar, followed by integrating the two materials by cold rolling process to form an elementary sheet and then subjecting the elementary sheet to an expanding or punching processing. The grid obtained according to this process is improved in the charging recovery characteristics after standing in a superdischarged state and in the corrosion resistance of grid at high temperatures without deteriorating the maintenance-free characteristics of the lead-calcium alloy itself.

A sense amplifier circuit operable at high speed, but having reduced power dissipation. The amplifier has two input lines, each receiving a respective voltage that differs from the other. A differential amplifier is connected between sources of high and low voltage levels and also has a pair of input terminals respectively connected to the first and second input lines. The amplifier also has first and second inverters, each having an input terminal and an output terminal, the input terminal of the first inverter being connected to the first input line and the input terminal of the second inverter being connected to the second input line. A first series combination of at least two transistors is provided between the first input line and the source of low level voltage, one of the two transistors having a control terminal connected to the output terminal of the first inverter. A second series combination of at least two transistors is proided between the second input line and the source of the low level voltage, one of the transistors of the second series combination having a control terminal connected to the output terminal of te second inverter.
Abstract:
A process for radioelectrophotography, which comprises imparting a uniform electrostatic charge to the surface of a recording layer of an image-recording material and containing dispersed therein many cells and/or pores to cause a strong electric charge to act on the gas inside the cells and/or pores, and irradiating the recording layer with radiation carrying image information to imagewise remove the charge on the surface of the recording layer and form an electrostatic latent image.
Abstract:
In the electrostatic recording process comprising relatively scanning a recording electrode on an electrostatic recording material which is electrically connected between said recording electrode and a counter electrode, applying a high frequency alternating current or asymmetric alternating recording signal formed by amplifying and modulating an image signal by a high frequency carrier wave between said two electrodes to form an electrostatic image on the electrostatic recording material, developing the so formed electrostatic image with a developer and, if desired, fixing the developed image, when a specific dielectric layer is selected to the kind of the recording signal and the electrostatic image formed on the dielectric layer is developed with an electroconductive powdery developer containing a fine powder of a magnetic material, high quality recorded images free of such problems as blurring, tailing, fogging and Moire can be obtained a high recording efficiency.

In an apparatus for transporting cylindrical steel articles by rolling down on inclined skid rails, a plurality of electromagnets are provided along extension of the skid rails so as to reduce the speed of rolling down of the articles repeatedly during transportation on the skid rails by applying forward and reverse excitations to each of the electromagnets at a predetermined timing thereby to transport the articles in a pitch transfer mode.
Abstract:
A transformer integrated type printed circuit board includes: a transformer including a core, a primary winding wire, and a secondary winding wire; and a printed circuit board including a surface layer and an internal layer in which wiring patterns are respectively formed, and having a plurality of insertion portions into which a plurality of leg portions of the core are respectively inserted. The primary winding wire is disposed in the surface layer of the printed circuit board so as to be wound between the leg portions, and the secondary winding wire is disposed in the internal layer of the printed circuit board so as to be wound between the leg portions. The primary winding wire is small in number of windings, is large in width, and is large in thickness, in comparison with the secondary winding wire.
Abstract:
In a torque ripple suppression control effected by a periodicity disturbance observer, it is necessary to consider plant fluctuation and fluctuation of plant characteristics caused by over time usage. Thus, improvement for robustness to an identification model error has been required. For fulfilling this requirement, there is provided a system that includes a phase correction amount calculation portion 11 that derives a phase correction amount by calculating a phase of a vector trajectory drawn by a frequency component of the periodicity disturbance, a gain correction amount calculation portion 12 that derives a gain correction amount by calculating a progress speed of the vector trajectory drawn by the frequency component of the periodicity disturbance and comparing the calculated progress speed with a threshold value and a rotation vector calculation portion 13 that derives a system identification model correction value by multiplying the phase correction amount by the gain correction amount and corrects the system identification model of a periodicity disturbance observer portion 14 based on the system identification model correction value.
Abstract:
Provided is a natural leather having a novel coating layer which feels leathery. The coating film retains material properties such as strength and wearing resistance. When the user directly touches the natural leather, the coating layer present on the surface of the natural leather gives slick characteristics of natural leathers and smoothness. The natural leather has a coating film formed on a surface thereof, the coating film including: a color coat layer formed from a mixture of a hard component (10% modulus is more than 2.3 but no more than 3.0) and a soft component (10% modulus is more than 0.0 but no more than 1.0) of a two-component polyurethane resin; and a topcoat layer formed from a mixture of a medium component (resin having a 10% modulus of more than 1.0 but no more than 2.3) and a soft component (resin having a 10% modulus of more than 0.0 but no more than 1.0) of a two-component polyurethane resin.
