Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a communications device determines at least one position estimation performance parameter, determines a zone identifier based at least in part upon the at least one position estimation performance parameter, wherein the zone identifier identifies one of a plurality of zones, and transmits the zone identifier to one or more UEs. A UE receives the zone identifier, determines the at least one position estimation performance parameter, selects one or more candidate UEs for the sidelink-assisted position estimation procedure based at least in part upon the at least one position estimation performance parameter, and performs the sidelink-assisted position estimation procedure of the UE with at least the selected one or more candidate UEs.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to signaling in frame-based equipment (FBE) mode for channel occupancy time (COT) sharing. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, in association with an FBE mode, a message associated with a designation of the UE for either COT sharing or non-COT sharing. The UE may detect whether there is an initial signal at a boundary of a time frame for COT and sleep, monitor, or communicate during the time frame, based at least in part on the designation and the detecting. Further, the UE transmits a COT sharing information (COT-SI) configured to reserve the one or more COTs for a future transmission via the sidelink channel.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel access in an unlicensed spectrum. An example method of wireless communication by a user equipment includes receiving a resource grant indicating a plurality of resource candidates for an uplink signal. The method also includes sensing for energy, in response to the resource grant, over one or more of the resource candidates in a first sensing occasion before a transmission occasion of the uplink signal. The method further includes transmitting, during the transmission occasion, the uplink signal using a subset of the resource candidates selected based at least in part on energy sensed in the first sensing occasion.

The UE receives, from the BS, a first configuration to select between a validation of the first direction or an absence of an invalidation of the first direction for using the first configured resource for the communication. The UE communicates, with the BS, the communication in the first direction using the first configured resource based on the first configuration.

Abstract: A base station may select whether to configure one or more second RACH reference slots associated with a plurality of first RACH reference slots in a RACH configuration period. The one or more second RACH reference slots may be new RACH reference slots, and the plurality of first RACH reference slots may be previously existing RACH reference slots. The base station may identify, upon selecting to configure the one or more second RACH reference slots, a RACH reference slot configuration including the one or more second RACH reference slots associated with the plurality of first RACH reference slots in the RACH configuration period. The base station may transmit, to at least one UE, an indication of the RACH reference slot configuration including the one or more second RACH reference slots associated with the plurality of first RACH reference slots.
