The pressure port is in fluid communication with a volume between the upper piston and the lower piston.

摘要: A method for fracking a well includes inserting a downhole tool into the well via a conveyance string through a wellhead assembly having a wellhead bore. The method also includes surrounding, at least partially, the conveyance string with a sleeve that at least extends below a portion of an inlet of the wellhead assembly, wherein the inlet intersects the wellhead bore. The method further includes injecting pressurized fluid into the well via the inlet of the wellhead assembly while retrieving the downhole tool from the well.

摘要: Provided are systems and methods for drilling a horizontally-oriented well having a sigmoid-shaped wellbore including an upper sigmoid portion having a downward curving wellbore trajectory and a lower sigmoid portion having an upward curving wellbore trajectory. The upper sigmoid portion having a first trajectory having a generally horizontal gradient at an entry point of the wellbore and that increases in downward gradient to a vertical gradient at an inflection point. The lower sigmoid portion having a second trajectory that includes the vertical gradient at the inflection point and that decreases in downward gradient to a generally horizontal gradient at a horizontal transition point of the wellbore.

摘要: A method for conducting well intervention operations includes disposing a combination well intervention apparatus proximate a pressure control apparatus coupled to the wellbore. The apparatus has a pressure control device adapter and at least one other type of well intervention device coupled to the adapter such that either the adapter or the at least one other apparatus is disposed over the pressure control apparatus. The method includes at least one of, (i) locking the adapter in the pressure control apparatus by operating a remotely operable locking device on the pressure control apparatus or (ii) disposing the other type of well intervention device over the pressure control apparatus. The method includes locking the adapter in the pressure control apparatus when the adapter is disposed over the pressure control apparatus, or operating the at least one other type of well intervention device when disposed over the pressure control apparatus.

摘要: A fracturing system is provided. In one embodiment, the fracturing system includes a fracturing manifold for routing fracturing fluid to multiple wells. The fracturing manifold can be coupled via fluid conduits to fracturing trees installed at the wells. In some cases, a fracturing tree is coupled to the fracturing manifold by a pair of goat heads in fluid communication with each other via at least one rigid fluid conduit. The fracturing manifold can include a trunk line that provides fracturing fluid to multiple outlet branches, which can include valves for controlling flow of fracturing fluid to wells downstream of the valves. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.

摘要: A fracturing fluid delivery system is provided. In one embodiment, the system includes a fracturing manifold and a fracturing tree. Further, the fluid conduit is an adjustable fluid conduit that provides a line-of-sight fluid connection from the fracturing manifold to the fracturing tree.
