摘要： A fishing lure and method of casting are disclosed. In one aspect, a lure assembly includes a fishing hook having an eyelet and a bend separated by a shank, the bend terminating at a point separated from the shank by a gape. The lure assembly further includes a hook appurtenance attached to the fishing hook and positioned past the bend generally aligned with the shank of the fishing hook. The hook appurtenance includes an ergonomic mass forming a resilient structure for gripping by a person, the ergonomic mass having a size smaller than a gape of the hook to avoid interfering with operation of the fishing hook.

摘要： The present invention includes improvements for fishing lures. In some embodiments, a blade of a fishing lure includes a louvered hole. The louvered hole increases the blade turning action as water moves through the hole making the lure more enticing to fish resulting in more bites/strikes. The size, shape, type, color, texture and other characteristics of the blade and the overall lure are all changeable. In a second embodiment, a lure includes one or more elongated tails. In some embodiments, the elongated tails float, spin, slow down the lure and/or generate an appearance similar to a living creature. Again, the other characteristics of the lure with elongated tails are all changeable.

摘要： A spinner of a buzz bait has a multiplicity of connected blades mounted for rotation on a reach of a wire frame of the buzz bait, the blades generating a hollow, substantially spherical shape when rotating, and agitating wings projecting outwardly from the blades at an angle thereto. In the preferred embodiment, the spinner is made in one piece of a material that is manually bendable and shape retaining, so that the wings can be bent to an angle that the user prefers, to regulate the speed at which the spinner rises to the surface and rides with most of the spinner exposed, above the surface of the water.
