Abstract:
A numerical simulation method for characterizing fluid channeling along large-aperture fractures of reservoirs relates to the field of petroleum reservoir development research and computational fluid dynamics. The conventional method can not effectively represent the rapid fluid channeling along large-aperture fractures. Aiming at solving the above technical problem, an advanced method is provided in the present invention. In the invented method, the geometric similarity and hydraulic similarity treatments of large-aperture fractures can be made simultaneously, moreover, the traditional numerical simulation software was improved to be an unstructured grid simulator. Therefore, the method of the present invention can effectively simulate the rapid fluid channeling along large-aperture fractures, consequently it can ensure the reliability of the simulation results and provide reasonable reference for the adjustment and optimization of oil field development plans. The present invention is simple in principle and easy to use, thus it has a great value of application and popularization.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the communication field and discloses a method and an apparatus for implementing pulse synchronization, so that the control on a single-chip multi-channel device can be simplified. A method for implementing pulse synchronization includes: when a cycle count value corresponding to a reference symbol port of the multiple ports reaches a length of a predetermined pulse cycle, obtaining, by a microprocessor, cycle count values corresponding to the multiple ports; obtaining lengths of temporary synchronization cycles of the multiple ports according to the length of the predetermined pulse cycle and the cycle count values corresponding to the multiple ports; and sending the lengths of the temporary synchronization cycles to logic circuits corresponding to the multiple ports. Embodiments of the present invention are mainly applied in communication systems to output pulse symbols synchronously.

Abstract:
Techniques described herein may recognize handwritten characters that are written at least partially over the top of one another that are input to a computing device. The handwritten characters may be formed of one or more strokes. A user may write characters or parts of words over approximately the same area of graphical user interface (i.e., on top of each other) without having to wait for a timeout between character input and without having to select a button or provide another input indicating the character is complete before entering input for another character. Once a character is at least partially recognized, a graphical indication corresponding to the user input displayed on a screen may be altered. Such alterations may include fading or changing size or location of the graphical indication.

Abstract:
The present invention provides compositions and methods relating to or derived from antigen binding proteins and antigen binding protein-FGF21 fusions that specifically bind to β-Klotho, or β-Klotho and one or more of FGFR1c, FGFR2c, FGFR3c, and FGFR4. In some embodiments the antigen binding proteins and antigen binding protein-FGF21 fusions induce FGF21-like signaling. In some embodiments, an antigen binding protein or antigen binding protein-FGF21 fusion antigen binding component is a fully human, humanized, or chimeric antibody, binding fragments and derivatives of such antibodies, and polypeptides that specifically bind to β-Klotho, or β-Klotho and one or more of FGFR1c, FGFR2c, FGFR3c, and FGFR4. Other embodiments provide nucleic acids encoding such antigen binding proteins and antigen binding protein-FGF21 fusions, and fragments and derivatives thereof, and polypeptides, cells comprising such polynucleotides, methods of making such antigen binding proteins and antigen binding protein-FGF21 fusions, and fragments and derivatives thereof, and polypeptides, and methods of using such antigen binding proteins and antigen binding protein-FGF21 fusions, fragments and derivatives thereof, and polypeptides, including methods of treating or diagnosing subjects suffering from type 2 diabetes, obesity, NASH, metabolic syndrome and related disorders or conditions.
Abstract:
An adaptive switch mode LED driver provides an intelligent approach to driving multiple strings of LEDs. The LED driver determines an optimal current level for each LED channel from a limited set of allowed currents. The LDO driver then determines a PWM duty cycle for driving the LEDs in each LED channel to provide precise brightness control over the LED channels. Beneficially, the LED driver minimizes the power dissipation in the LDO circuits driving each LED string, while also ensuring that the currents in each LED string are maintained within a limited range. A sample and hold LDO allows PWM control over extreme duty cycles with very fast dynamic response. Furthermore, fault protection circuitry ensures fault-free startup and operation of the LED driver.
Abstract:
Systems and techniques for translating user interaction with a touch screen into input commands. In one aspect, a touch screen system includes a touch screen graphical display, a command interpreter configured to identify modifier interactions with the graphical display and, in response to identification of the modifier interaction, modify the interpretation of other interaction with the graphical display, one or more persistent data storage devices. The data storage devices store a first set of rules for interpreting user interaction with the graphical display and a second set of rules for interpreting user interaction with the graphical display. The first set of rules interpret motion across a map or a proper subset of a collection of information as a scrolling or panning command. The second set of rules interpret the motion as a glyph. The command interpreter is configured to modify the interpretation of the other interaction by switching between interpretation under the first set of rules and interpretation under the second set of rules.
Abstract:
An airflow duct for guiding air toward two heat sink apparatuses in computer includes a duct body fixed in a computer case, a first air guide channel and a second air guide channel defined in the duct body. The duct body has an air inlet and an air outlet. The first air guide channel forms a first air outlet, which opens towards a first heat sink apparatus in the computer case. The second air guide channel forms a second air outlet, which opens towards a second heat sink apparatus in the computer case. The first and second air guide channels guide air from the air inlet to the first and second heat sink apparatuses, through the first and second air outlet openings to dissipate heat respectively from the first and second heat sink apparatuses. A first air guide channel height is greater than that of the second air guide channel.
