    Abstract: A UE receives, from a network entity, control information scheduling a downlink transmission and indicating a first feedback resource for a first decoding scheme of the UE and a second feedback resource for a second decoding scheme of the UE. The UE may receive a downlink transmission from the network entity. The UE may decode the downlink transmission using at least one of the first decoding scheme or the second decoding scheme. The UE may transmit, to the network entity, a first ACK/NACK response based on the decoded downlink transmission. The UE may transmit the first ACK/NACK response using the first feedback resource if decoding the downlink transmission using the first decoding scheme. The UE may transmit the first ACK/NACK response using the second feedback resource if decoding the downlink transmission using the second decoding scheme.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may transmit a polling request to a receiving device in sidelink control information that is associated with a sidelink data transmission. The polling request may be included in a sidelink control information message or in a medium access control layer message. The receiving device may respond to the polling request with an indication of whether there is data available for transmission to the transmitting device at the receiving device. The transmitting device may determine whether to schedule reverse sidelink resources for the receiving device to transmit the available data based on the response to the polling request.

A user equipment (UE) may establish a sidelink communication link for performing one or more sidelink communications with a second UE. The UE may transmit, to the second UE via the sidelink communication link as part of a beam management procedure, a first reference signal using a first beam over a first symbol of a sidelink slot, and a second reference signal using a second beam over a second symbol of the sidelink slot, and may communicate with the second UE using the first beam in accordance with the transmission. The UE may also transmit, over one or more third symbols of the sidelink slot using a third beam at a power level, a gain control signal. The UE may receive a first reference signal associated with a first measurement value and second reference signal associated with a second measurement value. The UE may transmit a measurement report based on the one or more reporting parameters and in accordance with a reporting option selected from a set of reporting options for the measurement report. The set of reporting options may include an absolute reporting option and a quantized reporting option. In some examples, the UE may receive a bit value indicating which reporting option to use for one or more measurement reports. In some examples, the UE may perform both reporting options and choose the reporting option associated with a lower error.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE) are described. A UE may identify one or more measurement parameters to use for input in a machine learning (ML) model. In some cases, the measurement parameters may include reference signal received power measurements or a past set of timing advance (TA) values for a specific node. The UE may predict the TA based on inputting the measurement parameters into the ML model. The UE may transmit an uplink communication from the UE to a network entity using the TA predicted from the ML model. In some examples, the UE may transmit a capability report to indicate that the UE may support autonomous update of the TA based on the predictions of the TA values produced from the ML model.
