Abstract: A method may include a obtaining a first data model instance comprising an identifier string and. a set of attributes associated with a set of attribute name strings. The method may include obtaining an ontology graph that includes a first label, a second label, and an association between them. The method may include using a prediction model to select the first label based on the first data model instance and determining the second label based on the relationship. The method may include determining a selected set of labels that includes the first label and the second label to associate with the first data model instance. The method may include associating the selected set of labels with the first data model instance in a dataset that includes a plurality of records, where each record is associated with a different data model instance.

Abstract: Methods and systems for presenting time series for analysis. A method may receive a first input defining a metric that indicates a relationship between a first and a second time series that are each associated with at least a first data object of a plurality of data objects, generate a first plot depicting the metric as determined from the first and the second time series, receive, via the user interface, a second input of a selection of a second data object of the plurality of data objects, determine, via an ontology, a relationship of the second data object with a third and a fourth time series that, respectively, are associated with series types that match series types associated with the first and the second time series, and generate and display, in the user interface, a second plot depicting the metric as determined from the third and the fourth time series.

Abstract: At least some embodiments are directed to a system to compute uniform structured summarization of customer chats. In at least some embodiments, the system may operate a processor and receive a corpus of chats between customers and customer service representatives of an enterprise. Grouping the corpus of chats into subgroup task types and then extracting chat keywords and chat related words for each subgroup task type. Generating an expandable template data structures for each subgroup task type. Processing at least one chat to extract chat utterances and chat snippets ranking the chat utterances and chat snippets. Populating the expandable template data structure based on rankings to generate a chat summary data structure.

Abstract: A configuration workstation generates configuration tables representative of applications that each comprise one or more object data structures. Each of the object data structures are linked to one or more staging databases that, in turn, obtain data from one or more standalone data sources. Each of the object data structures comprises at least one property that defines available data for the object data structure. The configuration tables are provided to a controller that obtains data from the staging database(s). The controller also causes the obtained data to be converted to the semantic data format and stored in a semantic database. A web server obtains requested semantic data from the semantic database for at least some of the object data structures for an application. The web server then generates a user interface based on the requested semantic data and provides it to a user device for display.

Abstract: A process including obtaining a set of natural-language text documents that discuss a topic, the set of documents containing different states of knowledge about the topic at different times. The process includes selecting an ontology from among a plurality of ontologies that correspond to different domains of knowledge, the selection being based on the ontology corresponding to a domain of knowledge including the topic. The process includes identifying concepts discussed in the documents using the ontology and detecting changes in at least some of the concepts over time based on differences between discussion of the concepts in documents authored at different times. The process includes updating natural language instructions on the topic based on the detected changes in the concepts and storing the updated natural language instructions in memory.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for generating a predictive system that obtains and processes data describing terms for different medical concepts to generate commands from a user query. An entity module of the system determines whether a term describes a medical entity associated with a healthcare condition affecting an individual. When the term describes the medical entity an encoding module links the medical entity with a specified category based on an encoding scheme. The system receives the user query. A parsing engine of the system uses the received query to generate a machine-readable command by parsing the query against terms that describe the medical entity and based on the encoding scheme for linking the medical entity to the specified category. The system uses the command to query different databases to obtain data for generating a response to the received query.

Abstract: Systems and methods are presented for the automatic placement of rules applied to topics in a logical hierarchy when conducting natural language processing. In some embodiments, a method includes: accessing, at a child node in a logical hierarchy, at least one rule associated with the child node; identifying a percolation criterion associated with a parent node to the child node, said percolation criterion indicating that the at least one rule associated with the child node is to be associated also with the parent node; associating the at least one rule with the parent node such that the at least one rule defines a second factor for determining whether the document is to also be classified into the parent node; accessing the document for natural language processing; and determining whether the document is to be classified into the parent node or the child node based on the at least one rule.
