Abstract:
A roller for a conveyor system is comprised of a body portion that is generally cylindrical and rotatable about a central axis. A first bearing surface is defined around the body portion. A second bearing surface is raised above the first bearing surface and is generally concentric to the first bearing surface, the second bearing surface being more resilient than the first bearing surface.
Abstract:
A ball transfer device is disclosed herein. An embodiment of the ball transfer device includes a chamber, wherein a first opening and a second opening extend into the chamber. A ball is located between the first opening and the second opening and is movable within the chamber. The movement extends between a first position and as second position, wherein a portion of the ball is movable into the first opening when the ball is in the first position.
Abstract:
A pulley structure comprises an axle, a ball bearing, a boss and a dustproof cover, in which the axle is connected to the ball bearing, an outside of the ball bearing is covered with the boss, a loop groove is disposed on the boss. Furthermore, a plurality of grooves are disposed on a bottom of the loop groove, a plurality of positioning sheets are extended from a rim of the flange, and the dustproof cover can be tightly engaged with the boss by inserting and sticking the positioning sheets in the grooves. Whereby, the dustproof cover is not easily loosed, and the dustproof object can be attained and foreign matter can be prevented from entering the bearing. Besides, an inner structure of the boss is strengthened to enable it to be shock resistible and not sunken and deformed easily so as to extend the use life of the pulley.
Abstract:
A guiding roller unit has a holder to be mounted on a mount, and a guiding roller rotatably supported by the holder. The holder includes a base, two bearings and widening preventing plates attached respectively to the bearing. The base, the bearings and the widening preventing parts are integral to each other. The base is mounted on the mount. The bearings stand from opposite ends of the base and rotatably support the roller. The widening preventing plates extend in directions opposite to facing directions of the bearings. The holder enables the roller to be attached and detached with leading ends of the bearings elastically widened with respect to base ends thereof connected with the base while being detached from the mount, whereas it prohibits widening of the leading ends of the bearings by contacting the mount in response to forces acting in widening directions while being mounted on the mount.
Abstract:
A case flow bed is for the handling of merchandise includes (a) a loading end and, opposite thereto, an unloading end; (b) a roller bed positioned between said loading end and unloading end for supporting and permitting sliding movement of merchandise from the loading end to the unloading end; and (c) apertures associated with at least said loading end for removably receiving at least one lane divider in any of a plurality of laterally extending positions for delimiting lanes of travel for the sliding movement of the merchandise.
Abstract:
A sorting conveyor system in which a main conveyor is intersected by one or more cross conveyors forming sorting stations at one or more gaps along a main conveying path. The cross conveyor includes a roller-top belt having rollers extending outward of a top article-supporting side and arranged to rotate about axes perpendicular to the main conveying path. The cross conveyor includes a bidirectional drive to selectively advance the roller-top belt in one of two opposite directions to discharge articles transferred onto the cross conveyor in the gap off the side of the main conveying path. The cross conveyor also serves as a low-friction roller-top bridge when the roller-top belt is stopped. The bridge allows articles to cross the gap from an upstream portion of the main conveyor to a downstream portion.
Abstract:
A roller conveyor system includes multiple carrier slides, which have runners, carry readable data memories and in particular are provided for transport of motor vehicle bodies. The roller conveyor system also has readers for reading out the data stored in the data memories, and a roller conveyor to convey the carrier slides The roller conveyor comprises roller rails, which are arranged parallel to each other, and multiple rollers which are accommodated in the roller rails, and of which at least some can be driven independently of each other by drives, and of which at least some are provided with flanges. According to the invention, the data memories are accommodated in the runners, and the readers in the roller rails.
Abstract:
A taper sleeve for a conveyor roller used in a curved conveyor section has a taper wall with internal radial ribs which mate with the surface of a cylindrical roller core. The inner edges of the ribs preferably have an interference fit with the core surface.
Abstract:
A roller insert for a conveyor roller tube includes a cartridge, a stub axle positioned within the cartridge, at least one bearing mounted within the cartridge and supporting the axle such that the cartridge is rotatable with respect to the axle, and an annular sleeve configured to be inserted into an end of a conveyor roller tube. The cartridge is securely and non-rotatably positioned within the annular sleeve. A conveyor roller assembly is also provided.
Abstract:
System providing a substantially enclosed piece or pieces of equipment, optionally fuel cell balance of plant equipment, available for shipment and storage at a user location. The system comprises a tool, a housing associated with the tool and having openings in the flooring through which portions of the tool are inserted, and a piece or pieces of equipment having a support, the tool accommodating movement of the support, and specifically on portions of the tool inserted through the housing. Movement of the equipment occurs along the longitudinal axis of the tool between points positioned inside and outside of the housing. The tool is removed from the housing after the equipment is positioned inside thereof so that as a consequence of such removal, the support of the equipment assists in substantially sealing the housing.
