摘要： It is an object of the present invention to improve the shave performance of a razor of the above mentioned type by providing a pressure sensitive razor design. In addition the handling is improved. A solution for the above mentioned object is characterized in that the resilient connection is shaped in an arcuate line between the handle and the blade unit and the blade unit can be fixed to the connection such that at least one blade is positioned in a plain that is approximately rectangular to a tangent line of the arcuate line of the connection at an end portion where the blade unit can be fixed.

摘要： A manually operated, finger-manipulatable non-electric hair trimming device is provided for shaving nostril hair, ear hair or the like. The hair trimming device includes a head structure sized to fit within a small body cavity, such as a person's nostril or ear cavity, and is arranged to support a flexible razor blade strip. The head structure has a base portion and a curved guard portion extending from the base portion. The curved guard portion has first and second ends which are attached to the base portion. A finger grip portion is provided having an end connected to the base portion of the head structure, for manually manipulating the hair trimming device. The head structure further has a thin, elongated narrow razor blade strip provided with a razor sharp first edge portion. The razor blade strip is bent to extend substantially along the curved guard portion of the head structure such that the sharpened first edge portion defines a curved end cutting edge for trimming hair within a hard to reach portion of a nose or ear cavity. The sharpened first edge portion also defines a pair of substantially straight portions for trimming hair on the generally flat side walls of a nose or ear cavity.

摘要： A shaving system includes a platform member with a support surface that has a plurality of apertures therein and guard structure integral therewith and disposed forwardly of the support surface, a cap member with a plurality of post elements for disposition in the apertures in the support structure, a primary blade member having a planar body and a cutting edge, a secondary blade member having a planar body and a cutting edge, each blade member having a plurality of apertures and at least two of the apertures having spaced locating surfaces for positioning engagement with the post elements, and a plurality of discrete spacer members disposed on the post elements and between the primary and secondary blade members. The post elements extend through the apertures in the blade members, the spacers and the platform member and preferably are mechanically deformed to secure the primary and secondary blade members with their cutting edges in spaced parallel relation in a fixed shaving geometry. The spacer members maintain predetermined vertical spacing between the cutting edges of the primary and secondary blade members and the post elements maintain predetermined lateral spacing of the blade edges of the primary and secondary blade members relative to the guard structure.

摘要： A movable blade cartridge including a platform member having a blade seat and a guard member. The guard member is located of forward and parallel to the blade seat so as to form a longitudinal slot between the blade seat and the guard member. A primary blade which is disposed on the blade seat such that the cutting edge of the blade is located rearwardly of the guard member. A substantial portion of the primary blade extends into the slot formed between the guard member and the blade seat such that the blade is flexible into the slot. A spacer is located on the upper surface of the primary blade. The spacer comprises a rear portion which functions to separate the primary blade and a secondary blade, as well as a forward portion which extends from the rear portion and functions to prevent upward movement of the primary blade, and create an opening beneath the forward portion of the spacer and the lower surface of the secondary blade. Both the primary and secondary blade are manufactured and mounted so as to be flexible in response to forces encountered during the shaving operation. The blade cartridge also includes a cap member disposed on the secondary blade which prevents upward movement of the second blade.

摘要： Safety razors comprise frames in which blade members are mounted in such a manner as to permit their angular displacement to change their shaving angle in use. The blade members are pivotally or hingedly mounted and are spring biassed to a normal position in which their shaving angles are at a maximum value. When, in use, the razor experiences high drag forces, the blade members are caused to move so as to reduce their shaving angles. The blade members may respond directly to drag forces applied to them or indirectly in response to deflection of guard members under high drag forces.

A single or double razor blade is yeildingly mounted in a plastic housing. To improve the spring or yielding mounting of the single or double razor blades, the latter are secured to a blade member that is mounted on a four-pivot articulation arrangement. This arrangement is provided with two swivel levers, each of which is pivotable between the plastic housing and the blade member on pivot points that have axes that extend parallel to the cutting edges of the razor blades. The swivel levers are pivotable against a spring force.
