The peel assembly includes a housing, structure for driving the backing and labels through the housing, a peel bar for bending the backing therearound, a plurality of deflector rollers proximate to the peel bar for deflecting the backing away from the label and towards the peel bar, and a plurality of supporting rollers proximate to the deflector rollers for supporting the label as it exits the peel assembly. After the backing, which has the labels thereon, passes over the peel bar, the backing is passed between the peel bar and the deflector rollers and the label passes over the deflector rollers and then over the supporting rollers.

摘要： A reverse image printer that has a backing web carrying a laminate layer upon which a reverse image is printed. The laminate layer is laminated onto a card. The backing web carrying the transfer layer is separated from the laminate layer after the laminate layer and card have been laminated together using a peel-off assembly that guides the backing web at a selected desired separation angle relative to the plane of movement of the card and the laminate layer after lamination. The peel-off assembly uses two guide members to maintain the desired separation angle regardless of changes in diameter of a take-up roller used for the backing web.

摘要： Strip magazine (1, 1') for surface mounted device (SMD) manipulators has a manually operated advance and includes the following features: the magazine includes an elongate, narrow plate body (2) whose width in the narrow direction corresponds to the width of the magazine strip (3). The upper narrow side (upper face 25) of the plate body (2) is bordered by two guide bars (4, 5) whose upper edges are angled toward one another and leave between them a gap (6) which is open at the top for removal of the components. Together with the upper face (25) of the plate body (2) disposed therebelow, these bars form a guide path (F) for the magazine strip (3). On the entrance side of the removal gap (6), there are devices for lifting off the covering tape (9) and for advancing the magazine strip (3). On the exit side of the removal gap (6), the guide path (F) changes to a reversal path (26) which opens into a return path (27 ) for the empty strip (3). The guide bars (4, 5) are combined into a component (10) that can be folded up and whose end lying at the exit side of the removal gap (6) is hinged to the plate body (2) in such a manner that, with the plate body in the folded-up insertion position, the upper face (25) of the plate body (2) is freely accessible.

At the bottom, the smaller supply reel (3) projects into the inner area (24) of the larger take-up reel (4) on the side thereof open towards reel (3), while its top surface is located completely outside the same. The slip clutch is located centrally between the two reels (3,4). The guide means in the guide of the carrier tape (22) are positioned between supply reel (3) and application foot (31). The pressure edge (33) of the application ledge (32) fitted to the end of the application foot (31) is followed by a guding edge (34) inclined at an angle thereto for the lateral deflection of the carrier tape (22) towards the take-up reel (4).

摘要： A film dispenser and slitter is described which is comprised of an upstanding ladder-like support member which has forward and rearward ends. An elongated horizontally disposed support is mounted on the upper end of the support member and has opposite ends. First and second roll support members are mounted on the support for supporting a roll of film therebetween above the support. The roll support members are selectively slidably mounted on the support to permit the apparatus to accommodate rolls of various lengths to be supported therebetween. First and second bracket members are positioned at the opposite ends of the support and extend upwardly therefrom. A first film support bar is secured to the first and second bracket members and extends therebetween above the support. A film holding bar assembly is pivotally mounted on the first and second bracket members and includes a film holding bar which is pivotally movable from an inoperative position generally above the first film support bar to an operative position wherein the film holding bar is closely positioned adjacent the forward end of the support to yieldably maintain a sheet of film therebetween. At least one film slitter is selectively movably mounted on the support for slitting film as a sheet of film is pulled downwardly from the roll of film positioned thereabove. The support has a horizontally disposed film cutting edge provided thereon for facilitating the sheet of film to be cut to a predetermined length. The first film support bar has a vertically disposed forwardly presented surface whereby the upper end of the sheet of film, after the sheet of film has been cut to the desired length, may be moved upwardly from the film cutting edge and secured to the forwardly presented surface for facilitating the removal of any backing material from the sheet of film.
