摘要: According to the embodiments of the invention, methods and apparatuses are used for observing the movements of passengers on transport conveyors and presenting advertisements thereon. Steps on an escalator or other conveyer employ touch screens and/or detectors which determine the brand & style of a shoe placed on the step. An image-forming module projects advertisements and other media content onto a transparent glass surface that is viewable by the passengers. The media content is selectively displayed based on the brand and/or style of passengers' shoes. Passengers may interact with the media content via the touch screen by carrying out gestures with their feet. Passenger interest in certain ads is detectable and may be used for consumer research purposes.

摘要: Lubrication systems for transport systems are disclosed that are powered by a rotating shaft of the transport system. The lubrication system includes at least one circular member mounted on the rotating shaft. The at least one circular member is coupled to and imparts rotation to a third circular member and separately to a fourth circular member for imparting rotation there to. The third circular member is coupled to a first linkage. The first linkage extends from the third circular member to a fifth circular member. The fourth circular member is coupled to a second linkage. The second linkage couples the fourth circular member to the first linkage between the third and fifth circular members. The fifth circular member is coupled to a pump shaft.

摘要: Transverse longitudinal joint comprising slats (11) with a main shaft (11e), a passable surface (11s), a functional surface (11f) opposite to the passable one (11s), connecting sides between the passable (11s) and the functional (11f) surfaces. Slats are mounted one after the other according to the main shaft (11e) to form a bellows structure, with a displacement movement without break in continuity with 2 degrees of freedom, so as to modify the bellows shape between an unfolded position and a folded position. Slats form a retractable surface (1). Each intermediate slat (11) has joining elements having: a male end (11A) in a first connecting side; a female end (11B) in a second connecting side, opposite to the first connecting side; the female end (11B) receives the male end (11A) of an adjacent slat (11).

摘要: A device (42) useful for working on an escalator (20) provides a tread surface (50) that is obliquely oriented relative to an incline (I) of the escalator (20) during a maintenance or repair procedure. A disclosed example is useful for spanning at least a portion of an escalator (20) where the normal operating steps (22) have been removed for purposes of working on the escalator (20). A disclosed example includes a tread surface (50), a riser portion (52) that is at least partially generally perpendicular to the tread surface (50), a first axle hook (54) and a second axle hook (56). The axle hooks rest upon spaced axles (46) associated with the escalator for positioning a temporary step (44) as desired for facilitating working on the escalator.
