Abstract: In an autostereoscopic display, a cylindrical lens focuses collimated light emitted from pixels of a display array, and a scanning device sequentially provides the light to openings in a display screen. The image information is provided in the display area at a rate corresponding to the frequency of the scanning of the openings in the display screen to provide the autostereoscopic image.
