Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a set of transmission occasions usable by the UE for transmitting layer one (L1) reports. The set of transmission occasions may include a first subset of transmission occasions for transmitting beam information reports and a second subset of transmission occasions for transmitting beam information reports and corresponding antenna port information. The UE may then transmit, within a first transmission occasion of the first subset of transmission occasions, a first L1 report including a first beam information report, and may transmit, within a second transmission occasion of the second subset of transmission occasions, a second L1 report including a second beam information report and an indication of a quantity of antenna ports supported by the UE.

The method generally includes determining a failure to receive and decode at least one scheduled downlink (DL) transmission from a network entity is based, at least in part, on the UE being out of coverage and taking one or more actions, based, at least in part, on one or more conditions. The one or more actions include at least one of: performing an autonomous handover (HO) or transmitting a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) with beam sweeping across multiple slots.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Interference between random access channel (RACH) transmissions and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) transmissions may be avoided with a RACH occasion forbidden mask and a dynamic indication of availability of downlink retransmission resources. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a RACH configuration and a forbidden mask associated with the RACH configuration. The UE may identify, from a set of random access occasions indicated by the RACH configuration, a subset of allowed random access occasions based on the forbidden mask. The UE may transmit a random access message during at least one allowed random access occasion of the subset. Additionally or alternatively, a base station may determine whether one or more transmissions on a component carrier (CC) were successful, and transmit downlink control information (DCI) indicating whether a set of random access occasions are available on the CC.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) are provided. In an aspect, the UE receives a downlink communication from a base station, the downlink communication including an update to at least one semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) or configured grant (CG) parameter. The downlink communication also indicates whether to use a first action time or a second action time for the update to take effect. The UE determines the action time for the at least one SPS or CG parameter update to take effect based on the downlink communication. The UE then applies the update to the at least one SPS or CG parameter for communications of the UE beginning at and following the action time.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may perform a first interference measurement on a first subband of a plurality of subbands configured for the UE and a second interference measurement on a second subband of the plurality of subbands. The UE may identify a first interference level based at least in part on the first interference measurement and a second interference level based at least in part on the second interference measurement. The UE may transmit, to a base station, a first sounding reference signal (SRS) on the first subband and a second SRS on the second subband, wherein an SRS sequence of the first SRS indicates the first interference level, and wherein an SRS sequence of the second SRS indicates the second interference level.
