Abstract: A vacuum cleaner includes a cleaner body that includes a suction motor, wheels that are configured to move the cleaner body, a driving motor that is configured to drive the wheels, a suction unit that is configured to communicate with the cleaner body, a connector coupled to the suction unit, the connector being rotatably connected to the cleaner body, a sensor that is disposed on the connector and configured to sense a movement of the connector, an elastic member that is configured to provide an elastic force to the connector toward an initial position of the connector, and a controller that is configured to control the driving motor based on movement information sensed by the sensor.
