    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and a communication apparatus, to support flexible configuration of QCL information of different reference signal ports, improve a success rate of performing channel estimation or channel measurement on a transport layer by the reference signal port, and improve communication efficiency. In the method, a transmit end determines first indication information, where the first indication information is used to configure a first reference signal port, and the configuration indicates first quasi co-location QCL information of the first reference signal port; and then the transmit end sends the first indication information to a receive end.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a measurement reporting method and apparatus, to improve poor data transmission performance caused by inaccurate channel state information feedback. The method includes: performing channel measurement based on a downlink reference signal from a network device, and reporting a measurement result to the network device. The measurement result indicates T resource elements and a superposition coefficient, and the resource element is determined based on at least one of the following base vectors: a time domain base vector and a receive side spatial domain base vector, and T is an integer greater than 0. In embodiments of this application, a channel feature of a channel in an angle domain can be more accurately indicated by using the receive side spatial domain base vector, and a time variant feature of the channel can be reflected by using the time domain base vector.

    Abstract: Example channel measurement methods and communications apparatus are described. One example method includes receiving a precoded reference signal by a terminal device, where the precoded reference signal is obtained by precoding a reference signal based on K angle vectors and L delay vectors. First indication information is generated and sent, where the first indication information indicates P weighting coefficients corresponding to P angle-delay pairs. The P weighting coefficients are determined by using the precoded reference signal. The P angle-delay pairs and the P weighting coefficients corresponding to the P angle-delay pairs are used to determine a precoding matrix. Each angle-delay pair includes one of the K angle vectors and one of the L delay vectors. The K angle vectors and the L delay vectors are determined based on uplink channel measurement.

    Abstract: A channel state information feedback method includes: a terminal receives first indication information from a network device, and the terminal sends channel state information to the network device. The first indication information is used to indicate a type of a right multiplication matrix in a first codebook, and the first codebook satisfies a formula (I). W is the first codebook, W1 is a port selection matrix, (II) is a linear superposition coefficient matrix, Wf is the right multiplication matrix, and (III) is a conjugate transpose of Wf, and is used by the terminal to determine the channel state information based on the first codebook. According to the method, when there are a plurality of codebooks, the codebook used by the terminal to obtain the CSI can be clearly indicated.
