Abstract:
A field emission backlight module has a field emission structure with cathode and anode provided on the same plane, so that electrons directly penetrate an independently provided fluorescent powder layer to produce light. The light is emitted uniformly without the need of the conventional optical membrane. Since the light produced by the fluorescent powder layer is not blocked by the anode, the problem of charge accumulation on the fluorescent powder layer is avoided, and it is not necessary to use expensive light-transmittable conducting glass as the anode. With the cathode and the anode located at the same plane, it is not necessary to use a precision spacer to adjust the distance between the cathode and the anode, enabling the module to be manufactured at reduced cost and high good yield. When the color sequential displaying method is adopted, expensive color filters required in the conventional LCD may be omitted.
Abstract:
An optical reading/writing apparatus has an optical head that includes a collimator and a lens. For focusing control, a startup procedure is executed to generate a first startup S-curve. A boundary is then set according to the startup S-curve. After executing focusing on and tracking on, a plurality of position combinations of the collimator and the lens are selected for focusing calibration, thereby obtaining respective focusing error signals. By comparing the focusing error signals with the boundary, whether the position combinations of the selected collimator and the lens are valid can be determined. One of the valid position combinations with the greatest image-quality value is then selected to read/write the optical disc in the subsequent reading/writing procedure.
Abstract:
An electron emission light-emitting device includes a cathode structure, an anode structure, a fluorescent layer, and a low-pressure gas layer. The fluorescent layer is located between the cathode structure and the anode structure. The low-pressure gas layer is filled between the cathode structure and the anode structure, having a function of inducing the cathode to emit electron uniformly. The low-pressure gas layer has an electron mean free path, allowing at least sufficient amount of electrons to directly impinge the fluorescent layer under an operation voltage.
Abstract:
A coolant injection process suitable for injecting a coolant into a projection tube having a coolant injection entrance is provided. First, a sealing element is arranged at the coolant injection entrance. Then, the coolant is injected into the projection tube through the coolant injection entrance under sub-atmospheric, wherein the level of the coolant is kept higher than the coolant injection entrance. Next, the coolant injection entrance is sealed by the sealing element under sub-atmospheric. Then, the coolant remaining outside the coolant injection entrance is removed. Moreover, a fixture for the coolant injection process is provided for injecting the coolant into the projection tube. The coolant injection process and the fixture for the same can reduce take time of the process and improve reliability of the projection tube.
Abstract:
A food and vegetable processing device includes a body with a motor so as to drive a processing unit which is attached by a lower cap with an outlet. A top cap is mounted to the lower cap and includes a feeding passage for feeding food and vegetable to the processing unit. The processing unit includes a blade disk, which has a convex top surface thereon cutting teeth are located. The convex top surface drives the food and vegetable to be processed move outward so as to obtain a satisfied result.
Abstract:
A light emitting diode is provided, wherein a first semiconductor layer is disposed on a substrate, and a second semiconductor layer is disposed on the first semiconductor layer. The first and the second semiconductor layers are doped with different type dopants. In addition, a second electrode is disposed on the second semiconductor layer, and a first electrode is disposed on the first semiconductor layer to surround the second electrode. A dielectric layer is disposed on the substrate to isolates the first electrode from the second electrode. A redistributing circuit is disposed on the dielectric layer. The redistributing circuit is electrically connected to the first electrode and the second electrode to provide a first extending electrode and a second extending electrode. The light emitting diode can prevent the crowding effect and provide better reliability and light emitting efficiency.
Abstract:
A food processor includes a base, a lower cap, a blade unit and a top cap. The top cap has a fixed tube extending from an underside thereof and a sleeve is movably mounted to the fixed tube. A board is sandwiched between the sleeve and the blade disk of the blade unit so as to move the sleeve upward which then fixed to the fixed tube by an adhesive layer such that a gap with a fixed width is defined after the board is pulled away. The food can be cut into tiny particles and juice can be squeezed via the gap.
Abstract:
A food, vegetables and fruit processor comprises a base having therein an operating motor, a lower cover, a cutting seat and an upper cover. Wherein the upper cover is provided with an inclined feed-in pipe extending downwardly therefrom, one end of the feed-in pipe forms on the surface of the upper cover a material inlet, the other end of the feed-in pipe forms a material outlet. Food, vegetables and fruit can be cast into the feed-in pipe, and are pressed tight with a material pushing plunger to render the food, vegetables and fruit to be perfectly and smoothly cut or ground in an energy saving mode. The present invention is applicable to using as a food, vegetables and fruit processor having the functions of squeezing juice and grinding food.
Abstract:
A method for improving etch uniformity during a wet etching process is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of first rinsing the wafer to form a water film over the wafer surface, followed by liquid phase etching. The water film helps the subsequent viscous etchant to be spread across the wafer surface more uniformly to thereby improve the etch uniformity.
