Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a wireless device to use periodic reserved resources to serve aperiodic traffic over sidelink. In one aspect, a wireless device reserves a set of periodic resources for sidelink transmission, where the reserved set of periodic resources include reserved resources for SCI and reserved resources for data. The wireless device transmits SCI without a data transmission in a periodic resource for the period. In another aspect, a first wireless device receives a reservation from a second wireless device for a set of periodic resources for sidelink transmission. The first wireless device receives, from the second wireless device, SCI in a period of the periodic resources, the SCI including an indication that the SCI is not associated with a data transmission.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may generate a wake up signal to wake up a plurality of second UEs. The wake up signal may be based at least in part on location information associated with the UE, location information associated with one or more of the plurality of second UEs, or a combination thereof. The UE may further transmit, to the plurality of second UEs, the wake up signal. Accordingly, the plurality of second UEs may receive the wake up signal and monitor for messages from the second UE based at least in part on receiving the wake up signal. Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to dynamically configuring sounding reference signal (SRS) resources are provided. In some aspects, a base station may measure a SRS transmission transmitted by a user equipment (UE) and receive, using a receive beam selected based on the measuring, a transmission from the UE. In some aspects, a UE may transmit a SRS transmission; and receive, from the BS, a downlink control information (DCI) message including a SRS resource indicator (SRI) for use by the UE in selecting a beam to transmit to the BS. The SRS transmission may be transmitted using a SRS resource and may have a SRS parameter that is indicated in or related to a triggering message, or related to a transmission parameter of a communication between the BS and the UE.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for determining resources for sidelink communications based on coordination information. A method that may be performed by a first wireless device includes receiving, from second wireless devices, reports indicating coordination information associated with candidate resources and assigning ranks to the reports. The method also includes determining resources from the candidate resources for communicating with third wireless devices based on at least one of: at least two reports, and the ranks of the at least two reports; or at least one of the reports and sensing information, measured by the first wireless device, associated with the candidate resources, and the rank of the reports and a rank of the sensing information. The method further includes communicating with the third wireless devices via the determined resources.

Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein permit a user equipment (UE) to transition among different power configurations, which include different values for different power parameters, that impact an amount of power consumed by the UE. In some aspects, these transitions may be signaled by a base station based at least in part on traffic volume for the UE, which may assist with improving throughput and/or extending battery life of the UE. Furthermore, these transitions may be signaled dynamically, such as in downlink control information (DCI) and/or a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) MAC-CE, which may conserve battery power and/or network resources as compared to reconfiguring the UE using an RRC message, and which may allow the UE to be reconfigured quickly as conditions associated with the UE change.
