    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a base station may transmit a set of reference signals spanning a channel to a user equipment (UE), where each of the reference signals is associated with one of a set of transmit beams. The UE may measure a signal quality of each of the set of reference signals. In some cases, each measured signal quality may correspond to one of a set of subbands of the channel and one of the set of transmit beams. The UE may then transmit an indication of at least one signal quality associated with one of the set of subbands and one of the set of transmit beams. In some cases, the UE may indicate the at least one signal quality according to a configuration that may be indicated by the base station or selected by the UE.

In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, at a network entity, a multiple sets of round trip time (RTT) information associated with a user equipment (UE), each RTT information of the multiple sets of RTT information associated with a different network entity.     Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support backscatter based positioning. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, from a transmit network entity, a data signal via a first channel. The method also includes receiving, from a tag device, a backscatter signal based on the data signal received by the tag device via the first channel. The backscatter signal is received via a second channel that is different from the first channel. The method further includes transmitting a report that indicates a position measurement associated with a position of the tag device. The position measurement is determined based on the received data signal and the received backscatter signal. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: A proxy sensing-based channel access procedure is discussed for shared spectrum networks. Within a given network, a distribution of proxy nodes may be deployed around a network operating area. A control node, which controls the proxy sensing mode for the network, may configure the active network nodes to conduct communications via the shared communication spectrum without first performing any type of channel sensing on the shared communication spectrum. The control node may then also configured the proxy nodes to perform channel sensing on the shared spectrum for the entire network. Using the reported channel sense results from the proxy nodes, the control node may determine whether detected interference is occasional or persistent, and whether to take some action to modify the communications or operations of the network.

In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, from a first management function of a network, a first configuration that indicates a first parameter associated with a sensing operation operable to measure a characteristic of an object within an environment. The method also includes receiving, from a second management function of the network, a second configuration that indicates a second parameter associated with a positioning operation operable to identify a position of the object within the environment based on the characteristic The method further includes transmitting a sensing report based on the sensing operation and that indicates the characteristic, and transmitting a positioning report. Each of the positioning report and the sensing report indicating the position of the object within the environment. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
