    摘要: An electrical power or electronic data unit is provided for mounting in an isolated work space such as a work pod that is at least partially enclosed by walls or other surfaces. The unit includes a housing body, an electrical power outlet and/or an electronic data connector, and an occupancy sensor that is in communication with a controller. The controller is operable to energize and de-energize a lighting or ventilation system associated with the isolated work space in response to a signal received from the occupancy sensor, and may further be operable to energize and de-energize the power outlet or data connector. Optionally, an environmental sensor is provided with the unit, and is in communication with a building automation system.

    摘要: A plurality ceiling fan kits comprising one or more pre-wired downrods or a set of pre-wired downrods having internal wiring terminating on one or more ends in wire leads made of electrically conductive materials. Different electrical connectors, for use with the ceiling fan kits and pre-wired downrods, are adapted to electrically couple one or more sets of wiring by pushing in the electrically conductive wire leads into a plurality of ports disposed on the electrical connectors. The electrical connectors may include a jumper for switching between a single- and dual-power supply switch configuration and indicia for identifying the insertion of a wire into a corresponding port. A method of mounting a ceiling fan to a structure having an electrical supply, utilizing the pre-wired downrods and the electrical connectors.

    摘要: A system comprises a first plug connector module and a second plug connector module. The plug connector modules each have at least two contact elements. The first plug connector module has at least one spring link. In the unplugged state, the at least one spring link connects the at least two contact elements of the first plug connector module electrically conductively to each other. A method for plugging a first plug connector module with a second plug connector module is based on the first and the second plug connector modules being guided toward each other in the plug-in direction. A sliding element of the second plug connector module presses against at least one spring link of the first plug connector module and, as a result, the at least one spring link is brought out of touching contact with at least two associated socket contacts.

    摘要: A cover of a connector has axis portions and first and second cover contact points. A housing has axis receiving portions and first through third contact portions. The axis portions are received by the axis receiving portions, and the cover is attached to the housing to be placed at any one of an open position, a closed position and a locked position. The first contact portions are exposed in the axis receiving portions. When the cover is placed at the locked position, the axis portions are face the first contact portions from beneath, and the second cover contact points are face the second contact portions from beneath. When the cover is placed at the closed position, the first cover contact points do not touch the third contact portions. When the cover is placed at the locked position, the first cover contact points touch the third contact portions.
