摘要: The electrical connector includes: a housing having a terminal space therein; and a connector terminal to be housed in the terminal space. The connector terminal includes: a terminal body operable to be inserted into the terminal space; and a lance formed at the terminal body for preventing the terminal body from being pulled out of the terminal space. The terminal space includes a pair of walls. The lance includes: a first elastically deformable portion outwardly extending from the terminal body; and a second elastically deformable portion being continuous with a distal end of the first portion, and being disposed outwardly of the first portion relative to the terminal body. A gap is formed between the terminal body and each of the walls, and the first and second portions can pass the gap in an elastically deformed condition.

摘要: A female terminal fitting is provided with a lance hole at a given position in the longitudinal direction of a bottom wall portion thereof, a latching groove of a lance portion formed inside a terminal housing cavity of a connector housing being resiliently inserted into the lance hole, and with a latching protrusion formed at a hole edge portion on the front end side of the lance hole, an end edge of a retaining portion inserted in the lance hole abutting and latching on the latching protrusion. The latching protrusion includes a conical portion gradually expanding its diameter from a vertex on the front side toward a rear end on the hole edge portion side of the lance hole, a cylindrical portion integrally formed at the rear end edge of the conical portion, and a cutout portion with a part of the conical portion is cut out.

摘要: A joint connector includes a housing that includes terminal chambers. At least two neighboring joint terminals are housed in terminal chambers neighboring among the terminal chambers, respectively. Each of the neighboring joint terminals includes a wire-crimping portion, a terminal body housed in a terminal chamber among the plurality of terminal chambers, and a pair of first and second contact portions, respectively. The first contact portion of one of the neighboring joint terminals is electrically contacted with the second contact portion of another of the neighboring joint terminals. A pair of spring tabs is formed on both sidewalls of the terminal body and contacts with opposed inner surfaces of the terminal chamber, respectively, by an elastic restoration behavior. According to the joint connector, an increase of a contact resistance to be generated by vibrations and temperature variations can be sufficiently restricted.

摘要: A terminal fitting is mounted on a terminal accommodation chamber formed in a connector housing by being engaged with an elastically deformable lance provided in the terminal accommodation chamber. The terminal fitting includes a bite resistance increasing part that is formed only at an upper portion of a hole edge engagement end face of an engaging hole to be engaged with the lance and increases a bite resistance to the lance. An lower portion of the hole edge engagement end face is flat. The bite resistance increasing part has a wave-shaped part that is formed by partially pressing the hole edge engagement end face.

摘要: A female terminal (10) includes a tubular portion (14) into which a male terminal (11) is to be inserted, a plurality of first resilient pieces (23) projecting inwardly of the tubular portion (14) from a bottom wall (15) of the tubular portion (14) and arranged side by side in a direction intersecting with an inserting direction of the male terminal (11) into the tubular portion (14), and a plurality of contact portions (28) arranged at positions of the tubular portion (14) respectively corresponding to the plurality of first resilient pieces (23) and configured to sandwich the male terminal (11) between the plurality of resilient pieces (23) and the contact portions. Since this enables each first resilient piece (23) to apply a proper contact pressure to the male terminal (11), the male terminal (11) is pressed against the second contact portions (28) at a proper contact pressure.
