Abstract:
An acoustic piano is equipped with an electronic sound generating system, and a key bed structure is angularly movable between an acoustic sound mode and an electronic sound mode for changing gaps between hammer heads and sets of strings, thereby allowing a player to perform a music with acoustic sounds or synthesized sounds.
Abstract:
A keyboard musical instrument includes: a keyboard; an acoustic musical tone production mechanism for generating an acoustic musical tone; a tone generator for generating an electronic musical tone; a solenoid driver for inhibiting generation of the acoustic musical tone from the acoustic musical tone production mechanism; and an operation panel for designating a musical tone to be inhibited. When a player designates a musical tone to be inhibited via the operation panel in advance and then depresses a key on the keyboard, the generation of the acoustic musical tone is inhibited by means of the solenoid driver.
Abstract:
The rhythm instrument disclosed is primarily intended for use with a conventional electronic organ or similar instrument. A cymbal is provided with one or more striking devices and with a damping device, all of which are controlled from the playing keys (manuals) and/or the pedal keys (pedal clavier) of the organ. Sensing circuits associated with the playing keys of the various divisions provide electrical operating pulses to rhythmically operate the strikers and the damper simultaneous with the production of the conventional organ sounds. An Automatic Pulse Train Generator can also operate the strikers and damper automatically, according to a predetermined rhythm pattern.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a guitar stand that includes a base, an upright support, and, optionally, a music holder. The top surface of the base may be at an inclined angle relative to a floor or surface on which the base (and guitar stand) is positioned. The top surface of the base is designed to receive, and make available for use, one or more effects pedals that a guitarist might choose to employ during a performance. The upright support, which is attached to the base at an inclined angle, is designed to hold two guitars. A music holder, if present, is attached to the end of the upright support opposite the support's attachment to the base, is designed to hold music, an electronic device for displaying information (e.g., music), or both.
