Abstract:
A head-worn automatic flipping eyewear comprises a housing (1), front automatic flipping lenses (2), rear fixed lenses (3), a transmission system, a circuit control system and a head fixing piece (7). The front automatic flipping lenses (2) are rotatably connected to the housing (1), and the rear fixed lenses (3) are fixedly connected to the housing (1), wherein the front automatic flipping lenses (2) are located in front of the rear fixed lenses (3). The transmission system and the circuit control system are located in the housing (1), and the head fixing piece (7) is located on the housing (1), wherein the circuit control system controls operations of the transmission system, and the transmission system controls flipping of the front automatic flipping lenses (2). The head-worn automatic flipping eyewear can be worn on the head for training, and the lenses are automatically flipped up or down, such that holding the lenses with a hand or manually flipping the lenses is unnecessary. Thereby, integration of the training via lens flipping with reading and writing is facilitated, and long-term persistent training can be achieved to obtain a good result.
Abstract:
A head worn display can be designed with an integrated camera for obtaining an image of a scene, transmitting the obtained image to a processor, modification of the image in substantially real time by the processor, and displaying the modified image on a display device worn by the individual. According to embodiments of the invention various methods are provided for adjusting the position of the displayed video in the horizontal left/right, vertical up/down, and horizontal in/out, and angular up/down dimensions relative to the individual's eyes.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an eye-protector assembly. The assembly includes arcuate-shaped protective cover. The assembly includes an eye-covering member pivotably connected to the protective cover. The protective cover is shaped to receive the eye-covering member when the eye-covering member is pivoted towards the cover. The assembly includes a pair of connector mechanisms for selectively coupling the protective cover to a hearing protector.
Abstract:
The invention is a device for adjusting underwater viewing. The device comprises a shaped lens consisting of a thin, transparent, tinted material. The shaped lens is an additive color filter configured to add missing wavelengths to light propagating through the shaped lens, the missing wavelengths being within a range of 577 nm to 750 nm. The shaped lens is configured to be removably secured to the visor of a diving mask. The device may further comprise one or more suction cups, one or more clips, or a strap disposed through openings in the lens. The device may further comprise a means for attaching the lens to the visor of a diving mask.
Abstract:
A system for securing eyewear comprises an elongated flexible band having first and second ends, a first magnet encased in the first end, a second magnet encased in the second end, and a backplate comprising a third magnet or a ferrous metal plate, The first magnet is stronger than the second magnet.
Abstract:
A hinged engagement and retainer device for securely holding a pair of sunglasses to a cap. The retainment device has a contoured hinged clam shell body configuration with a split resilient memory foam insert that will conform to the sunglass frame temple when closed. A fastener on the hinged body shells selectively secures the retainer device in closed position around the frame. A cap engagement pin extends from one-half of the shell body for insertion through the fabric of the cap and is held in place by a fastener slidably disposed on the engagement pin.
Abstract:
A retainer for eyewear is provided, comprising a rear portion, a front portion, and means for securing the front portion to the rear portion. The rear portion comprises a backing plate having a front surface. The front portion comprises a front piece having a front and back surface, a back piece having a front and back surface, and a bridging piece connecting the front and back pieces at their bottom edges. The bridging piece is biased to force the front surface of the back piece against the back surface of the front piece in a closed position. When the nose bridge of a pair of glasses is inserted between the front and back pieces of the front portion, the front and back pieces temporarily separate and close onto the nose bridge to hold the glasses within the retainer.
Abstract:
An eyeglass retention system for coupling eyewear and headwear through the use of magnets attached to the temples or arms of glasses and magnetic or metallic elements attached to headwear. Vertical supports and other attachment structures prevent inserts from falling out while multi-point magnetic coupling and safety features enhance performance.
Abstract:
Apparatus comprising securing straps which attach to the temples of the eyewear such as eyeglasses and go over the top of the head and under the chin to secure the eyeglasses in place on a user.
Abstract:
In an eyewear mounting device, a pressing surface portion is formed at an end of a frame, a pair of supporting arms is provided on the pressing surface portion at an interval, a shaft around which a tightening band is wound is provided between tips of the supporting arms. An operating member rotationally attached between the supporting arms has a pressing operation portion, a pulling-up operation portion, an elastic piece and an engaging claw. The engaging claw is engageable with any of a plurality of protruding portions provided in a longitudinal direction of a surface side of the tightening band. This configuration results in easy operation of the operating member in the state where the eyewear mounting device is worn on the face. Further, only one operating member is used as the component member, thus resulting in easy assembly of the eyewear mounting device.
