    摘要: A self-drilling, self-cleaning fastener for a panel includes a head having a top side and an underside. The head has a diameter. A shank depends from an underside of the head and has a diameter less than the diameter of the head. A knurled region is adjacent the shank. The knurled region has a diameter and a plurality of spiral formed knurls having a twist in a first direction. The knurls define a major circumference as measured around peaks of the knurls. A threaded region is adjacent the knurled region and has a diameter less than the diameter of the knurled region. The threaded region has a thread form having a twist in a second direction opposite the first direction. A driving point is at an end opposite the head.

    摘要: A recessed head screw includes a shank, a head, a drilling portion and threads. The head includes a top face where a socket portion is formed. The socket portion has a driving recess and a driving socket formed between the driving recess and the top face. The driving socket communicates with the driving recess. A diameter value of the driving socket is a maximum circumscribed circle diameter value of the driving recess plus a value within 20% of the maximum circumscribed circle diameter value. When a driving tool engages the socket portion, the driving socket can be in close-fitting engagement with the driving tool to increase the engagement between the driving tool and the head and prevent the screw from falling off the tool easily during the driving action of the tool, thereby delivering a full driving force to the head to improve the working efficiency and smoothness.

Each anti-screw-out tooth includes a guide face and a stop face intersecting a circumferential surface of the lower portion for development of a recessed channel. A first thread on the shank includes a plurality of asymmetrical thread convolutions each having a first cutting face facing onto the insertion tip and a second cutting face backing onto the insertion tip. The first cutting face and a horizontal axis form an included angle between 25 and 45 degrees. The second cutting face and the horizontal axis form an included angle between 3 and 23 degrees. The screw is in favor of surface flatness of a to-be-connected plank and pull-out as well as anti-screw-out properties of the screw.
