Abstract:
Fuel delivery modules are already known having a tank flange and having an accumulator pot which is connected to the tank flange by means of at least one guide rod and which is mounted so as to be axially movable along the guide rod, where the guide rod is pressed with one end into a receptacle of the tank flange. It is disadvantageous that the receptacle is expanded over the entire longitudinal extent as the guide rod is pressed in. As a result of tolerance fluctuations in production, excessively high pressures can occur in the receptacle here, which pressures can cause cracks in the receptacle. This leads to rejects and therefore to high production costs. In the fuel delivery module according to the invention, damage to the receptacle during assembly is prevented. According to the invention, it is provided that that end of the guide rod which faces toward the tank flange has a bead, which interacts in a retentive manner with the receptacle, and a constriction situated behind the bead in a direction facing away from the tank flange.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a transport container (1) consisting of a bottom part (2) and lateral walls (3, 4) extending perpendicularly therefrom. The transport container has cut-outs (7) provided in the bottom region for receiving with accurate fit the goods to be transported, and also a further support means for the goods above the bottom region. The support means is formed by an intermediate wall (10) that can be positioned vertically and fixed laterally to the corresponding lateral walls (4) and to the bottom part (2).
Abstract:
“Shipping container systems are provided for shipping a temperature sensitive product or payload. The systems include at least one heat transfer element and a payload container configured to hold payload therein and configured to be positioned within a shipping container; the payload container being spaced from sidewalls of the shipping container. Also included are spacers that may for example, space the payload container from one or more of the heat transfer elements. The spacers are configured to allow air to flow over surfaces of the payload container and heat transfer elements. Also included are kits that include components of the system and methods. Further provided are products that include any one or more of the described elements; and fully assembled shipping containers.”
Abstract:
Presented is an improved panel and connector sidewall construction. While maintaining the benefits of standard structural panel designs, the post connector construction also achieves many benefits of traditional sheet and post designs, including simplified replacement of damaged interior panels. The design also allows for simplified replacement of the outer panels of the container while simultaneously providing an aerodynamic surface without protruding rivets. The sidewall construction also achieves the important objective of providing smooth trailer walls with minimal recesses, protrusions and snag points.
Abstract:
A cargo container includes a cargo box affixed atop a hollow base, with the base including forklift tunnels extending therethrough with elongate bays disposed parallel thereto. Each bay includes a removable tray for receiving electrical batteries. And, a temperature control system is disposed on a sidewall adjoining the base.
Abstract:
A hard side shelter is convertible between transport and deployed modes. When in the transport mode, the shelter has an envelope identical to an ISO-cargo container. A side section floor and cover are each connected to the center section for rotating between being coplanar with the center section floor and roof when in the deployed mode, and being vertical and lying in a center section side planes when in a transport mode. Each side section has end and middle panels that are turnable relative to each other, and a door assembly that is turnable relative to the middle panels. Locking bars engaged the center section floor when the shelter is in a transport mode, and engage the side section floors when the shelter is in the deployed mode. The shelter is handleable by pallet handling systems and includes insulation panels to enhance the heat transfer characteristics of the shelter.
Abstract:
A collapsible frame container assembly comprises a frame component comprising a plurality of panels connected to each other, the panels being movable relative to each other between a first substantially folded condition wherein the panels are collapsed and a second unfolded condition wherein the panels are opened to define a frame structure. Also provided is a container component comprising first and second sides defining a space therebetween of a size which can be varied according to the relative positions of the first and second sides. The frame component when in the unfolded condition and the container component are releasably coupled to each other to define a predetermined frame container assembly.
Abstract:
A reusable container and a method of using same to transport fragile, yet heavy loads, is provided. The reusable container, preferably made primarily from wood, includes a base member, at least one vertical member having one or more vertical support members capable of being received in one or more interlock pockets in the base member, a top or lid and a cargo support member. These components interact in such a way as to provide for ease of assembly and disassembly by a single person, and to provide a container having great strength when assembled. More specifically, the at least one vertical member interlocks with the base member and adjacent vertical members, thus minimizing the need for supplemental fasteners.
Abstract:
A foldable portable container is described. The container end walls are hinged to the floor of the container and are attached to the roof by a hinged slide mechanism whereby vertical displacement of the roof causes the simultaneous folding or unfolding of the opposing container end walls.
Abstract:
A plastic tank for liquids formed as a rectangular-solid or cubic container has four sidewalls, an upper base with a filling socket, a lower base, and an outlet socket, the outlet socket being formed on the lower section of a sidewall for connection to a tapping valve. The upper corner regions between the sidewalls and the upper base of the container and/or the lower corner regions between the sidewalls and the lower base of the container have at least one indentation or projection each.
