    摘要: An operating arrangement is provided for a mechanism or the like, e.g. an operating mechanism for a circuit interrupter for electrical power transmission and distribution systems where the operating mechanism operates on stored energy and requires a recharging operation after the stored energy is utilized to operate the circuit interrupter. The operating arrangement includes an operating member and a cooperating arrangement carried by the operating mechanism for retaining the operating member during a multi-turn charging operation. Initial operation of the operating member for one or more turns causes the operating member to be retained before any charging operation takes place. Subsequent operation of the operating member results in the charging of the operating mechanism. The operating member is then returned to an initial engagement position whereupon the operating member is released for removal from the operating mechanism. In a specific embodiment, an interlock function is also provided for the operating member, such that a key must be obtained from an associated device and inserted into the operating member before a recharging operation may begin for the operating mechanism. The key is inserted into the operating member and help captive therein before the operating member may be utilized to recharge the operating mechanism. In a specific implementation, the key is released from the associated device only when the associated device is locked in a particular operative state, e.g. a disconnect switch is locked open which releases the key for use in the operating member. Thus, while the key is held captive in the operating member during recharging operation, the disconnect switch cannot be operated.

The operating mechanism includes a holder assembly being positioned to receive a portion of an operating handle of the circuit breaker. The holder assembly is capable of movement between a first position and a second position wherein the first position corresponds to a closed position of the circuit breaker and the second position corresponds to an open position of the circuit breaker. The operating mechanism further includes a drive plate being movably mounted to a support structure of the operating mechanism. The drive plate is coupled to the holder assembly. The operating mechanism also includes an energy storage mechanism for assuming a plurality of states, each state having a prescribed amount of energy stored in the energy storage mechanism. When the energy stored in the energy storage mechanism is released it provides an urging force to the drive plate causing the holder assembly to travel in the range defined by the first position to the second position.

    摘要: A motor operator for a circuit breaker is disclosed. The motor operator includes a motor drive assembly connected to a mechanical linkage system for driving an energy storage mechanism from a first state of a plurality of states to a second state of a plurality of states. The motor operator also includes an energy release mechanism coupled to the mechanical linkage system for releasing the energy stored in the energy storage mechanism. The mechanical linkage system includes a recharging cam being driven by the motor drive assembly. The recharging cam rotates a drive plate rotatably mounted to the system. A linear carriage is coupled to the drive plate and the linear carriage manipulates an operating handle of a circuit breaker. The recharging cam is disengaged from the drive plate when the energy storage mechanism is compressed into an energy storage state and the drive plate is latched into a position corresponding to the energy stored state. The drive plate is released from its latching position by the energy release mechanism and the stored energy of the energy storage mechanism is released to manipulate the handle of the circuit breaker. The recharging cam is reconnected after the energy of the energy storage mechanism has been released.

    摘要: A spring drive mechanism for power switch gear. The mechanism includes an engagement shaft free to rotate about its own axis and carrying both a large toothed wheel and a cam. An engagement spring constituted by a traction spring is coupled to the large toothed wheel at an attachment point by a chain. The large toothed wheel meshes with a small toothed wheel which is coupled via a gear train to a driving gearwheel secured to an outlet shaft of a drive motor. In the predetermined direction A of rotation, the large toothed wheel includes a discontinuity in its teeth, thereby generating a gap which constitutes a zone without teeth, and in which a retractable tooth is disposed. Following the retractable tooth, the large toothed wheel has an additional discontinuity in its teeth over at least two meshing steps. This mechanism is advantageous as switchgear for a circuit breaker.

    摘要: For cocking an energy accumulator, an actuating device comprises a ratchet wheel with teeth as well as a reciprocating transport ratchet. For maintaining the cocked position of the energy accumulator, a cam wheel and blocking lever which can be braced against a blocking member via a ratchet lever are provided. Due to a wedge-like cooperation between a working surface of the cam wheel and a projection of the blocking lever, the blocking lever is transferred from its rest position into a blocked position if the deadcenter position of the cam wheel is exceeded. In the process, the transport ratchet is lifted from the teeth of the ratchet wheel by means of a striking surface of the blocking lever.

    摘要: The electric control to reset a circuit breaker is formed by a sub-assembly (10) to be coupled to the mechanism (60) of the circuit breaker. At the end of the charging travel of the closing spring a control cam (46) disconnects and stops the motor. The charging position is defined by a latch interlocking the charging cam (62), a closing operation being induced by the release of the latch and a limited rotation of this charging cam (62). The link shaft between the motor reducing sub-assembly or block (10) and the mechanism (60) transmits this closing limited rotation to the control cam (46), which induces the restarting and the connecting of the motor for a reset operation of the closing spring.
