    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive a medium access control layer message indicating a set of mappings between a set of pathloss reference signals and one of: a set of physical uplink shared channel identifiers, or a set of sounding reference signal identifiers; receive downlink control information activating a mapping of the set of mappings; and perform a pathloss measurement using a pathloss reference signal identified by the activated mapping.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may inform a base station of multiple transmission-antenna switching capabilities supported by the UE. The supported transmission-antenna switching capabilities may include a first transmission-antenna switching capability and a second transmission-antenna switching capability. The UE may receive a message that triggers the UE to switch from using a first configuration associated with the first transmission-antenna switching capability to using a second configuration associated with the second transmission-antenna switching capability. The UE may perform a sounding procedure using the second configuration associated with the second transmission-antenna switching capability based on receiving the message.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configuration that may identify a set of time and frequency resources for transmission of sounding reference signals, the set of time and frequency resources including a plurality of subsets of time and frequency resources. Each subset of time and frequency resources of the plurality of subsets of time and frequency resources may be associated with a corresponding value of a plurality of values of a partial frequency parameter. The UE may receive control signaling indicating a value of the partial frequency parameter of the plurality of values. The UE may transmit a sounding reference signal on a subset of time and frequency resources of the plurality of subsets of time and frequency resources that corresponds to the value of the partial frequency parameter indicated by the received control signaling.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may perform channel state information (CSI) measurements on one or more reference signal transmissions received from a base station. Based on the CSI measurements, the UE may generate a CSI report, and the UE may transmit the CSI report to the base station. In some cases, the generated CSI report may include a first portion and a second portion. The first portion may indicate whether the second portion of the CSI report includes full-band CSI feedback or partial-band CSI feedback. The second portion may provide the CSI feedback for one or more identified sub-bands. In some cases, the second portion may include a sub-band index indicating the identified sub-bands. Additionally or alternatively, the second portion may include a bitmap indicating a correspondence between multiple CSI feedback values and multiple corresponding sub-band indexes.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel quality indictor (CQI) reporting with precoding matrix indicator (PMI) frequency domain (FD) units. A user equipment (UE) may configured with a CSI reporting configuration. CQI and PMI may be configured with different FD unit sizes. The UE may determine which PMI FD units to use for calculating corresponding CQI FD units. PMI and CQI FD units may not be aligned. The UE may determine which PMI FD units to use for calculating CQI based on the alignment. PMI and CQI FD units may be configured using a separate bitmaps, a bitmap and ratio of the FD unit sizes, or a single bitmap. PMI and/or CQI FD units may start from a lowest FD unit index in the system bandwidth, or the lowest FD unit index within a configured bandwidth part (BWP).
