Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for techniques for bandwidth part (BWP) operations when a user equipment (UE) is configured with multi-cell physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) scheduling. A method that may be performed by a UE includes receiving, from a base station (BS), first downlink control information (DCI) indicating whether resources are allocated for at least one data channel on multiple carriers, the first DCI configuring at least one BWP configuration to be activated on the multiple carriers, interpreting the first DCI based on the at least one BWP configuration to be activated, and communicating with the BS in accordance with the first DCI as interpreted based on the at least one BWP configuration.

Abstract: Disclosed are various techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) identifies a set of positioning sources, each positioning source comprising a positioning reference signal (PRS) resource, a PRS resource set, a PRS frequency layer, and/or a transmission/reception point (TRP). From the set of positioning sources, the UE identifies a consistency group comprising a collection of positioning sources grouped based on expected values of at least one metric of a reference signal from each positioning source, measured values of the at least one metric for the reference signal from each positioning source, and an error threshold. The UE identifies one or more subsets of positioning sources within the consistency group, each subset having at least one metric error value. The UE reports, to a network entity, information about the consistency group and information about at least one of the subsets of positioning sources within the consistency group.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a report that includes measurements associated with one or more downlink reference signals that are received using a set of candidate downlink beams. The UE may transmit one or more uplink reference signals using a set of candidate uplink beams. The UE may receive, from the base station, information that indicates, among the set of candidate downlink beams and the set of candidate uplink beams, a best uplink beam to use for one or more uplink transmissions. For example, the base station may select the best uplink beam based at least in part on the measurements associated with the one or more downlink reference signals and measurements associated with the one or more uplink reference signals. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: When a user equipment (UE) is configured with a primary cell (PCell) and one or more secondary cells (SCell), scheduling of uplink (UL) and/or downlink (DL) resources for the UE may be received from the primary cell. However, in some circumstances, the primary cell may be unable to provide such scheduling related information. In such circumstances, one or more secondary cells may be enabled to provide scheduling related information to the UE such that cells other than the primary cell may function as scheduling cells. Information regarding dormancy states of the cells (primary and/or secondary) may also be provided by the scheduling cells.

Abstract: A user equipment may receive a configuration that indicates a density of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) resource elements and a set of locations of the DMRS resource elements in one or more resource element groups associated with a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH); receive an indication of a change to at least one of the density of the DMRS resource elements or the set of locations of the DMRS resource elements, resulting in at least one of a modified density of the DMRS resource elements or a modified set of locations of the DMRS resource elements; and monitor for downlink control information in a search space associated with the PDCCH based at least in part on the at least one of the modified density of the DMRS resource elements or the modified set of locations of the DMRS resource elements.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for operating user equipment (UE) in a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode, and more specifically, setting a DRX inactivity timer value. An example method for operating a user equipment in a discontinuous reception mode including an active mode for communicating with a network and an inactive mode when the user equipment does not communicate with the network includes determining a trigger condition based on a communication with the network, determining the inactivity timer value based on the trigger condition, and operating the user equipment in the active mode during a duration of the inactivity timer value and in the inactive mode after the duration of the inactivity timer value.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a system information message including first system information for the UE; receive, after receiving the system information message, a system information update message indicating a change to at least a portion of the first system information; determine whether the change applies to one or more capabilities of the UE; and selectively acquire second system information based at least in part on whether the change applies to the one or more capabilities of the UE. Numerous other aspects are provided.
