Abstract: In a general aspect, a user equipment (UE) in a cellular communications network receives a first Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) corresponding to a first cell of the cellular communications network, and a second SSB corresponding to a second cell of the cellular communications network. The UE clarifies a first cell identifier (ID) of the first cell. The UE clarifies a second cell ID of the second cell. The UE determines an SSB measurement accuracy value using the first cell ID and the second cell ID.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for signaling unused channel occupancy time (COT) to the gNB for COT sharing among other UEs. Upon determining that a portion of the maximum COT (MCOT) provided to the UE will be unused, the UE can generate COT sharing information for transmission back to the gNB. The COT sharing information identifies a starting point and a duration (e.g., a number of consecutive slots) of the unused portion of the MCOT. This information is then encoded into configured grant uplink control information (UG-UCI) and transmitted to the gNB as part of the uplink transmission. In aspects, the unused portion may begin part-way through a slot. In this instance, a starting symbol of the unused portion or an ending symbol of the used portion may also be encoded into the uplink transmission. In this manner, unused COT is not wasted, but rather repurposed by the gNB.

Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing downlink transmission and interlace uplink transmission. For example, some aspects of this disclosure relate to a base station including a transceiver configured to communicate over a wireless network with a user equipment (UE) and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver. The processor divides a plurality of candidate Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) positions in a time window into a plurality of groups and communicates, using the transceiver, information associated with the plurality of groups of candidate SSB positions to the UE. The processor further performs a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure. In response to the LBT procedure being successful, the processor determines a first group of the plurality of groups and transmits, using the transceiver, one or more SSBs on one or more candidate SSB positions of the first group to the UE.

Abstract: Some embodiments include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for facilitating frequency hopping for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) communications in 5G wireless communication systems. When inter-slot and/or inter-repetition frequency hopping is used, user equipment (UE) may transmit a first portion of symbols in a first slot using a first transmission frequency indicated by a frequency domain resource allocation. The UE may transmit a second portion of symbols in a second slot using a second offset frequency. When intra-repetition frequency hopping is used and the symbols are segmented, the UE may disable the intra-repetition frequency hopping and transmit the segmented portion of symbols using a particular transmission frequency indicated by the frequency domain resource allocation. When intra-repetition frequency hopping is used and the symbols are non-segmented, the UE may apply frequency hopping to divide a portion of symbols for transmission within a repetition.

Abstract: Some aspects include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for facilitating control messaging for multi-beam communications in 5G wireless communication systems. Nodes of a 5G network may be generate Medium Access Control Control Elements (MAC CEs) to update User Equipment (UE) with different Component Carrier (CC) settings. The MAC CEs may update a list of CCs to reduce messaging overhead and latency. For example, a MAC CE may indicate an update for a Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) state for a list of CCs. Similarly, a MAC CE may be used to update a spatial relation for a Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) resource set and/or a SRS resource corresponding to a list of CCs. A MAC CE may also be used to update multiple TCI codepoints having one or two TCI states in a multi-Transmission Reception Point (multi-TRP) scenario.
