Abstract: In some implementations, a user device can predictively route media content to a remote playback device based on playback context information obtained by the user device. The playback context can include local playback context information related to the state and/or context of the user device. The playback context can include remote playback context information related to the state and/or context of available remote playback devices. Based on the playback context information obtained by the user device, the user device can generate a predictive score for each available playback device that indicates or predicts the likelihood that the user will want to send media content to the corresponding playback device. The user device can generate and present a graphical user interface that can identify the playback devices having predictive scores over a threshold score. In some instances, the user device can automatically route selected media content to a predicted playback device.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for facilitating operations. In some examples, computer systems provide indications that educate and/or guide users for performing an operation. In some examples, computer systems perform a first operation based on a first type of user input corresponding to a first hardware input device and perform a second operation based on a second type of user input corresponding to the first hardware input devices. In some examples, computer systems adjust audio output of an emergency siren based on detecting a particular type of event. In some examples, computer systems display different types and/or sizes of notifications based on an operating mode of a respective computer system. In some examples, computer systems forgo performing one or more operations when a respective computer system operates in a low power mode.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to techniques and interfaces for managing media playback devices. In some embodiments, the techniques include varying a feedback based on movement of a computer system toward or away from an external device. In some embodiments, the techniques include displaying an interface that includes controls for controlling media playback on an external device when the computer system and the external device are playing media. In some embodiments, the techniques include performing operations at a computer system in response to an input having a size that is less than or greater than a size threshold. In some embodiments, the techniques include performing different operations at a computer system when status lights have states that indicate different states of the computer system.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a display and an input device. While in wireless communication with a set of peripherals that includes a first peripheral and a second peripheral, and in accordance with a determination that the first peripheral satisfies charging criteria that require that the first peripheral is coupled with the second peripheral, the electronic device: initiates charging of the first peripheral, by the second peripheral, to a first threshold charge level that is less than a charge limit of the first peripheral; and, in accordance with a determination that charging completion criteria for the first peripheral are met: initiates charging of the first peripheral, by the second peripheral, to the charge limit of the first peripheral.

Abstract: The invention is directed to an electronic device. The electronic device generates for presentation on a display a user interface including a plurality of content items, a first heading, and a second heading. While the user interface is presented on the display, the electronic device receives input scrolling the plurality of content items. In response to the input, the electronic device scrolls the plurality of content items including: scrolling the first heading with a first content item of the plurality of content items that is currently playing; and scrolling the second heading with a second content item of the plurality of content items that is next in a queue of content items.

Abstract: A system and method for routing communication to a common audio output device connected to each of two or more audio signal source devices. For each of the two or more audio signal source devices, a set of inputs are assessed. The set of inputs include: an operational state of the audio signal source device, an activity the audio signal source device, an audio-producing application being executed by the audio signal source device, and a degree of user activity with the audio-producing application being executed by the audio signal source. At a point in time, an audio routing score is generated for each of the two or more audio signal source devices according to a weighted calculation of the set of inputs based on the assessing. Finally, an audio signal routing decision is made, to route an audio signal from one of the two or more audio signal source devices to the audio output device, based on the audio routing score for each of the two or more audio signal source devices.

Abstract: While a first wearable audio output component of a wearable audio output device is in a first position relative to a first ear of a user and a second wearable audio output component of the wearable audio output device is in the first position relative to a second ear, a computer system operates the wearable audio output device in a first mode. While doing so, the computer system detects a change in position of the first component from the first position to a second position; and, in response, while the second component is maintained in the first position, the computer system transitions the wearable audio output device from the first mode to a different, second mode that is a pass-through mode in which audio outputs provided via the wearable audio output device include pass-through audio components that include at least a portion of ambient sound from the physical environment.
